First Grow: 1000 Watt HPS Feminized Seeds!!

Hello guys, figured I post here where I would get some responses instead of the journal forum. I love feedback, so come on in and follow a hopefully successful grow!

Plants:
3 Nirvana Jock Horror's (23 Days old)
3 Nirvana BlackJack's (23 Days old)
Mystery (51 Days Old)
Mystery was bagseed, and she turned out to be a female, I was very lucky! Mystery has been on a light schedule of 12/12 for 10 days now.

Grow Area:
5x5x6, with room to expand if needed.

Lights:
1000 Watt HPS Light (Ordered today on Amazon, I can't wait!!)
4 x CFL's 6500K 23 Watts Each
1 x CFL 4200K 42 Watts

Nutrients / Soil:
I'm using organic soil, and FoxFarm Big Grow, and Big Bloom nutrients.


The pictures speak for themselves. I had a scare early on, (I was a noob and made the water WAYYY too acidic), but look how she has come along!

Thank you! I'm the type of person that if you're going to do something, you might as well do it right, ya know? It was my biggest investment, but like you said, very good results to come (i hope lol)

Once I get my light i'm moving to the attic. I currently have no exhaust or intake set up, besides some ducting that runs from my furnace / AC. The temperatures here only gets to 65 in the day now and dips low at night, and it's only going to get colder outside, so i'm not expecting to have heat problems from the light, or am I wrong?

Any opinions?

Here's a picture I took today. I moved the whole set up to a new location (as you can tell from the last picture)

Going to get the crap out of there and hang some tarp and mylar I already bought.

Well, the majority of my little grow "house" is completed. Reason I call it a house because from the outside it is a shed that resembles a little house. It's inside dimensions are 10 x 12 so I have plenty of space to work with.

When my shed door is open, you can only see a blue tarp, and there is a little opening..

It's amazing what nutrients can do (and lack of them )

Looks awesome. My only advice would be to get the flowering plant closer to the light.

put more airflow and try to get a little closer.

besides more air = stronger stems capable of supporting large budsets

thanks for the tip. I got a large 16 inch fan that's at the same height as the canopy, so air is getting moved around pretty throughly. plus I'm able to leave my shed door open sometimes so fresh air is abundant.

Does it cause any harm to the plants to be under the HPS for 12 hours, and then under CFL's for 12 hours in the vegetative cycle?
