So, I just got a new system, for my first ever grow.. figured i'd buy it all in one go rather waiting forever to get this going. Spent a lot of time on these forums in the past month doing my research and went into a hydro-store and they had a package deal so I figured I would take advantage of it.
Got :
Secret Jardin Darkroom II Pro - 90, 36x36x72
Valuline 4" Inline Fan
6x4 Duct Reducers
4" Duct
Sunleaves Digi hydrometer
Hydrofarm dual timer
Rope Ratchet Light Hanger
400 W Hps plantmax bulb
Sunspot 6 air cooled reflector
Lumatek 400W digital ballast
400 W Metal halide plantmax bulb
+ some other basic goodies.
I have my fan for my air cooled reflector on the inside of my grow tent instead of mounting it outside, and I have it pulling air rather blowing which I read is how it's suppose to go, but is it alright that I have it inside my tent rather out?
Got a soil clone to mess around with, so I figured I'd atleast get one harvest in before I move in 3 months. Also I might be picking up 2 more tomorrow from the same person. After this I plan to start doing a coco setup cause soil just confuses me, I'd rather be able to have more control over the whole process, so any input on tricks or anything for soil don't be shy. Should I be adding nutrients when I water, and if so any input on what kind? Do I need to be checking PH levels, if so, how?
For the best yield how much longer do you think I should wait until flowering if I have to be done in 3 months, the plant is about 8 inches tall now.
I also have a 1gal pot to switch it into in about a week I figured, with 100% Fox Farm ocean forest soil, should it be enough for the full harvest?
I have the temp under 85 degrees F all the time, and the humidity is at 32%, which I think is suppose to be like 40+ for vegging, so I have a plate with water in there to try to raise it up a bit.
Desert Dream - Platinum OG x Blue Dream... sativa (not excited, I'm sorry but I've read flowering is going to take forever)
