hey buds

This is my first grow, a 400W closet for medical personals. I think there are three LSD plants, an LA Woman, and a skunk #1. For odor control I have a home built can fan I estimate can handle 400 cfm, I have the elicent fan pictured that does 309.

Im building an aero cloner myself right now, gonna clone each lady and keep those clones as moms. I have a separate clone tent.

My ladies are in about week 6 of veg, recently transplanted to 3 gallon pots and looking pretty happy.

For veg nutes I'm just using some General Hydroponics Maxigrow, and I've got some Maxibloom as well.

I need advice on bloom nutes and schedule though. I'd love something pretty bulletproof before I start flowering any week now.

I'm using a solarmax 7200k deluxe vegging bulb, it's been fantastic so far

anyway here are some other pics, going back in time:

Looking good. I'm probably going to try Barneys LSD for my next grow. It's between that and Pineapple Express. Best of luck and I'll be following this one.

WOW. it's a jungle in there :bigjoint:

moving from 1 liter pots to 3 gallon pots is making a huge difference. I'm waiting on some nutrients I ordered to start flowering, so now they are just "vegging out." I completely understand the expression now.

The yellow veins on the back right plant have disappeared, and now it turns out the middle one is a monster. They are nute-crazy

here are some shots of my cab. Note the purple stems on that one lady

these are all from femmed seeds

so yeah, I just started flowering!

Went with Cha-ching, beastie bloomz and open sesame from foxfarm

I was waiting to finish my cloner, and that's finally done too. took a bunch of clones 3 days ago (you can see I thinned out a bunch of the undergrowth... not quite a lolipopping but close). The clones are doing well, no wilting or anything, they will become mothers themselves, as I want to flower these bad boys. They are well over eighteen inches apiece, one is over twenty. anyway, I'll get to the pics

Ian! Frederick Blythehood, here! lol

Awesome work on that cloner! Freaking SWEET!:bigjoint:
I still want to see pics of your setup Fred. how are your women??

the clones are doing great so far, I got an aquarium heater for the res. it was pretty easy to make. on day 4 they look just like I clipped them an hour ago. no roots yet tho.

damn, one turned out to be a straight up male, not even a hermie. had to give him the chop chop. I got it pretty early, I think it will be ok, they were just tiny preflower nuts. Makes more room for the rest of em I guess. It must have been one of those "feminized" freebies they threw in. the plant was about two feet tall, is it worth trying to make some hash, or should I just compost

WEEK 1 of flowering - they've grown three inches since I flipped. Damn. Now I'm kind of glad I had to get rid of one, I don't think I'd have any room for it. started feeding them a mix of open sesame, tiger bloom and a bit of maxigrow to maintain foliage and root health. They are drinking a lot more water, and starting to overpower my can filter. Time to replace the carbon, I think. :)

hey I'm back... it's day 14 of flowering, they are still growing an inch a day. I hope they stop stretching soon! Already got some nice looking bud sites going on

Nice, Im really interested in your grow. I have a 400W MH on right now for vedge and when I filp, I'm putting them under a 600W HPS. Im doing DWC/Aero though, and its my first medical grow as well. I have 2 skywalkers 1 white widow 2 white diesels and a strawberry cough. Only 6 plants as per state law. It should be interesting to see how our grows match up. Im in week 3 of vedge and my ladies are already 18-20 inches tall.

just a few tips for you every time you clone a plant it loses a bit of potency so by you keeping the clones as mothers and cloning of of them will greatly reduce potency if i am not mistaking, and the second i hope you got rid of the clones you took from the male plant as those are most likely male too, besides what i had to say your doing great man the plants look sweet. i heard theres a way to go backwards in genetics on plants but i cannot remember where i read it on this forum. you could always keep one of those males and get some more seeds! take care

DAY 19 FLOWERING

I'm on nearly my last rung of my light before I have to screw hooks in the ceiling. I got a glass lens for the HPS, improved the air cooling for both the duct fan and the hood fan, and hopefully they'll only stretch another 5-8 inches. Temps are around 78-81, and I have AC in the room

The smell is getting wild. I have to refill my little ONA breeze-dispersal thing like every three or four days. Nearly all the buds have a sprinkling of trichs on the leaves around them. :weed:

The two closeups are clearly different nugget, can anyone tell if the second one is LA Woman or Skunk #1? it's by far the shortest plant. I'm almost positive closeup #1 is the LSD.

Just to get the below cab shot I had to switch to my widest angle lens... 11 mm :o

I have heard many, many different things about this, but the consensus I came to in my research is that one generation down is fine, I came across many professional club and cup breeders who keep clones as moms with no bad effects. There was a topic I read on here about keeping a bonsai mom that said the same thing. It's more about how you treat the mom - he had 10-15 year old moms still giving high yield viable clones.

as for the male, I'm not really interested in breeding, so I got rid of him and his clones asap, but thanks for the help!

@ thatguy 858

Your plants are looking great, keep it up. You may have to deal with different flowering times with all those different strains? but it shouldn't be too much of a problem. I started 12/12 when they were a little over 24'', and that took me a good 5 weeks in soil.

I'd love to hear about your setup I may do a DWC with ScroG after I get my moms sorted

Thanks dude. They do look amazing huh? No problems (thank god) as of yet.

Im assuming your in Canada? Im in California, Los Angeles. All my plants are clones Ive picked up at local dispensarys. Ill post pictures below of some stuff. 5'w X 7'L X 7'H space,Im using a 400W MH bulb (aircooled by my filtered waste air) See picture below. I have a lumatek 600W dim-able ballast so I'm going up to 600W HPS when I flower in 2 or so weeks.

Im doing half Aeroponic and half DWC. Im trying to figure out what works best VS whats easiest. I was thinking about doing a ScroG next time as well. So far, Aeroponics is just amazing. I got my plans from YOUTUBE vids. It was pretty easy to build. I really want another light in here. Advanced Nutes (thank you canada) with some GH goodies and some Hygrozyme thrown in. I didnt top them, I cant cut my children. So they are really growing. Im at the stage where I do need to put hooks in the ceiling. 3 of my ladies are 24-30 inches tall already.

I had a white diesel who wasnt getting enough room the larger one in the picture above in my previous post. So I switched her from the Aeroponics tub to a DWC bucket. I hope she lives, I had to touch her roots and there was some cutting of a 3'' netpot I dont even want to go into, scary stuff. She should be a beauty if she survives.
