First Grow, 400W Closet Setup

I picked up a couple clones of Purple Kush locally, they are growing under a 2' T5 fixture right now. It'll take a bit, but eventually I'll have mothers for a little perpetual grow I have in mind
Sweet man Purple Kush is the shiznit.
One things to note though. They dont do well without a little veg time. They will stay very small, if flowered small.

Thanks for the tip! Like I said, it'll be a little bit. One I have this current crop harvested, I need to figure out exactly how this setup is going to work. I've been reading lots in the "Harvest a pound every three weeks" and have been considering doing something like that, as well. My space is pretty limited but I have some time while my mothers grow, so I'm sure I'll be able to figure something out.

i like the idea of taking the top buds off first...as long as you dont clip main stems and stress it out and kill it ya know

Hah! I won't be getting an lb every three weeks... I don't have the space or the need for that quantity. A few oz tho, I could deal with
Edit: Sunday is chop time. Amber trichs started popping up Wednesday, so Sunday it is. I don't want to turn the corner into full-on couchlock weed.

By popular request, the pictures!
No idea what the wet weight is, and I don't particularly care... that isn't what counts. I had a nice pile of trim left over... it went into a pot with 2.5 lbs of sweet cream butter and simmered for 4 hours. I now have some pretty tasty brownies to hold me over until the rest of this stuff is ready to smoke! They could be a bit stronger, but I'm happy with them and I still have about 1.5 lbs of cannabutter left
If you look close, you can see that some of the colas were starting to turn purple. I was giving them only ph'd water for the last couple weeks so it could be nute deficiency. Maybe it is a purple strain I grew... who the eff knows! The weird-looking buds, second row middle pic, are also the frostiest and most pungent of all the plants (the whole plant is on the far right on the newspaper). They are pretty airy after the trimming, but I'm excited to try them... and all the rest of the plants!
Another few days hanging, depending on the weather (been real dry lately, so that is good) and then into jars for a bit. I've noticed that in the last few days, the buds I have left from the plant I chopped early have been smelling and tasting much better so I think these are going to be left alone to cure for at least a week. Damn waiting... oh well! Enjoy the pics!

Yup, 400W HPS, just like in the title of the thread
IIRC, they were 12-14" when I started flowering and ended up 24-26" tall. I have the numbers somewhere earlier in the thread, but they stopped getting taller at about week four of flowering.Thanks again! They should be just about ready for thanksgiving
