So i've been growin for the first time and i'd like someone to explain me how is that possible that a strain that should end flowering in 55 days still has clear trichs maybe 10% or a bit less of milky trichs.. What causes this and does it have any negative effects on the plant? Thanks!

hi, i know it can be frustrating, but theres lots that can change things, your dealing with nature, not cooking a cake in an oven! also things like people sometimes take the first day of flowering from when they flip the light, others say 7-14 days after which obviously changes things, end of the day if theyre healthy and flowering im afraid its gonna be redy when it wants to be,
hang in there

Its not bad thing, seed company's will say certain genetics will be done in 7 week or 8 week i all ways add a extra 12/14 days ontop of this because i never chop untill the plants are crowned of perfect.

Its there way of getting you to buy a plant thinking it will be done in a set ammount of time this very rarely happens to many factors play a part, this to me says that the temps in the room have been pretty good and the other parts of the room are ok they normaly finish early if the room is in perfect condition, but a finished plant to them is not a finished plant to me i like them to be at a certain point before i lop them down.

they will look done early if the nutes you are feeding is too strong for them, let them run for has long has they need rather than rush them along. The last two week are the most important part of flowering so don't rush them

i have yet to see amber trichomes early in flower in an indica or indica dom .if you ask me 50% of growers cut there plants early.going by trichomes is the only way that you can be sure its were you want it ...if your grow indicas you want a lot of amber to get its full affects...scarecrow77

I want to say that my Mataro Blue took between 10 and 11 weeks in 12/12. I may be wrong as it was awhile ago now.
