I was also trying to figure it out yesterday, but it didn't fit the idea or pictures at the GrowFAQ.
This looks kind of weird, but the outer parts of the leaves are folding up. Maybe it's the fan? I can observe it only on few leaves that are most ventilated, and as I wrote before, I have a one bigass ventilator
I'm not sure. I also bend them a lot and that might cause a slight burn at the leaves since I try to keep the bulb as close as possible (already got it further from the plant), but I guess after bending, some leaves end up pretty close to the bulb.
The bulb itself isn't hot so I'm not that worried about it though.
I made some closeups today so maybe I can get some interpretation on the effect.
Nevertheless it doesn't fit my interpretation of this article:
GROWFAQ
Anyway, there is 1,25% of Magnesium in my nutrients. Same as in G/H Flora Grow.
Anyway, today I'll add fresh water only. Maybe some feedback will clear things up.
The folded leave closeup:
And another one:
After serious inspection I found this little bastard hidden beneath a bushy branch and a fan leave above him. Is this serious or just lack of light? Notice that the bigger leave also has some yellow marks on the outside.
This is an overall view at the plants. They might look a bit downgraded, but I just bent them to the right and am starting to draw a circle with them.
I checked the roots, and they look like this:
The roots are not slimy, but the big "knot" is a little bit yellowish. I guess I'll add a bit of H2O2 with today's refill.
Temps are:
- water in res - 26C/79F
- air - similar to that (it's like 24C room temperature, and I guess it's a tiny bit warmer around the plants due to CFLs and the closet
Any idea if there something wrong with the plants?
