Hey guys and dolls!

I was goofing around this morning with my crappy old Olympus and the loupe magnifier I use to get close up with my plant and I got some great shots! Check these out and please offer any insight, advice, or positive comments you feel might help. This is day #41 and she is a Lowryder #2 strain auto..

I swear, just a couple of days ago you could barely even see evidence of the trichs.. Now, I'm wondering if she might not be ready to harvest at 8 weeks? I'm definitely going to let her stay in the ground as long as she needs, but what do you guys think?

awesome, the mrs and i are on our first grow, again LOL looks like you are doing it right :peace: i love the pics btw, my camera doesn't do the plants justice.
 
Those look awesome Congrats on your first time being a major success. They will tell you when they are ready I don't really know how to explain it but when it happens you'll see it. I'm not talking just about trichomes the whole plant just looks ready.
 
What magnification is your loupe? Looks like around 30x

Reason I ask is because I JUST got my 30x in the mail yesterday but I don't have any buds to scope out with it yet...

Looking Great! :weed: what lights you using? I use a scope to check trichomes with...soon as I see some amber chop chop ;)

No idea hun... It was literally something my hubby had in his toolbox at work and brought home to see if I could use it to check the trichs.. He says 30x sounds about right, but he can't be sure either. Hasn't had a welding job that required the use of a loupe in a long time. But I'm happy with it. :P
 
Just a couple of of daylight 26w CFLs.. we've got a nice little grow box that's reflective and well ventilated with a couple of PC fans. She's on a 18/6 light cycle and has been from day one. I read it works really well for autos and it does seem like it.

I agree about the harvest time.. when I see a little bit of amber in the trichs it's time to bring her down and dry her out.
 
Nice pic's. Not sure if you are asking but yeah, few more weeks, but they look nice. Popcorn or colas?
 
She's got a nice main cola, but a ton of gorgeous little popcorn buds too... The close ups were of both. I figure she has a minimum of 2 weeks, probably 3 for good measure.. but I'm a total nub and this is my first grow, so.. we'll see?
