Hello this is my first grow and I don't really know what to look out for or if mine look healthy for their age. They are roughly a month old and about 9-10 cm tall. I used Miracle grow to sprout them which from what I've read wasn't a good idea but that was all I had. Four of these have been transplanted to a 2 gal pot with regular dirt from my yard no nutes aside from the leftover MG, and one is still in a 1 gal pot with MG potting soil (the 4th picture from the left).

I would greatly appreciate any advice you have, thank you!!

Your soil looks very sandy! If you really want to plants to yield well, invest in some decent bagged soil. I like to use faster draining soil mixes, they require more watering which provides more opportunity to fertilize. I can't be sure but from the pictures those plants look a little wimpy, be sure they are getting as much direct sunlight as you can find on your property! if possible, see that they get a good breeze, this will help those stocks thicken up.

As far as ferts go don't be disillusioned by all the hype. In truth there are 2 types of plant foods; organic and inorganic. The fact of the matter is, urea is urea no matter what the product packaging says. There are loads of 'purpose' build plant foods that have become popular among marijuana growers, but almost every one of them use the same ingredients. Look for a decent 'veg' food, it will have more Nitrogen in it than phosphorous or potassium. If possible, choose a plant food that contains micro nutrients, if you plan to continue to grow in sand. There is very little need for me to lecture further on NPK as the web is full of this
information.

Learn to sex, expect your favorite plants to be males, if you plan to grow 10 plants plant 25 seeds. This of course is moot in the event that you've procured feminized seeds.

Good luck!

Fox farms ocean forest.. Has enough nutes for 6 weeks.. Ionic grow, bloom and boost is what I use. Cfl T5s, a bong and a lighter
I absolutely agree, ocean forest is probably my favorite bag soil, happy frog costs less. but really anything other than that sand will be a step in the right direction!

maybe put some cut in half clear plastic bottles over them so a animal doesnt just " one shot" your plant to death.
