First Grow: GL60 | 400w | OG Kush Blue Satellite 2.2 | GDP

Penelope Jane may very well be a dude. Her preflower is looking claw like. If this is a male, I'll take the lost, but this will increase my growers patience.

Things looking great. Lets hope its not a boy, if so, cut her now and replant in hopes not to be too behind.

Good luck.

Day 21

Aloha.

Seems the ladies are recovering from the deficiencies from earlier, but Penelope Jane, may very well be a boy. No worries. Thats why I planted the two 2 liters. In case both are showing some female preflowers weeks down the line, I'mma transplant them into the 3 gallon. Or should I just plant a new seed into the 3 gallon if PJ is 100% boy? maybe use the two 2 liters as plan A, then if that doesn't work, then plant the new?

The new seed we have is "The Pure"

The Pure
Classification: Sativa-dominant
Parents: Skunk #1 backcross
Growing Environment: Indoor/outdoor/greenhouse
Garden Skills: Beginner
Flowering Time: 8 - 9 weeks
Yield: Heavy
Height: Medium
Medical Uses: Nausea, anxiety, depression, inflammation
Breeder: The Flying Dutchmen

Cannabissearch.com Buzz Rating: This strain has a mellow and sweet fruity overtone, with an added skunk flavor and a floral aftertaste. The high is a moderate creeper and lasts around an hour-and-a-half.

This sativa-dominant Dutch strain offers an effect that is potent as well as long-lasting. It's a backcross of Skunk #1 and is a true favorite of most lovers of the Skunk family. These buds are large and neither dense nor airy and tend to be much more frosted on the inside of the buds than on the outside.

As with most of the Skunk strains, The Pure is highly versatile, able to be grown indoors, outdoors or in a greenhouse and displaying a noticeable resistance to most diseases and viruses. She’ll provide a more than generous yield in just 8 - 9 weeks and has trimmings that make great hash and/or butter. This strain grows of average height, but can reach up to 8 feet when grown outdoors in certain conditions.

Man, "Wish" is doing perfectly. They all are about to take off soon. Those white stains are from my milk/water foliar feeding. Although they don't bother them, should I spray them down with water to remove these?

Looks good. I'm pretty sure it has not showed sex yet seeing as you didn't switch to 12/12.. and to my knowledge it's not a auto-flowering strain so yeah... Just sit back and watch them grow. Oh yea and that Pure Strain seems pretty good. I've had it a couple times.. and the nuggets look good here's a pic

I'm thinking that this is a male. The shape of the growth, does not resemble that of a female preflower. I know 3 weeks may be early, but idk brahs.

The Pure is very euphoric, happy, and creative, and during the entrance of the peak, the indica remnants are felt. I might pop her in place of PJ.

Love from the islands.

Wassup bras.

So Penelope Jane was a def male. I culled her this morning, and transplanted the oldest 2 liter bottle plant into the 3 gallon where PJ once made her balls.

So far for the OGBS, we have one male out of five bagseed. I luckily started the 2 liter grows as a fail proof setup. I have another one in a 2 liter that is the last fai proof. Lets hope for girls here on out.

Pics coming Thursday.

Aloha everyone.

So... the GDP went male, and so did pretty much everything else from this thread... Out of all 5 of the OGBS's that I planted, only one showed to be a girl... Wish. The one I planted last with the hope that she was a girl... she lived up to her name. She's the oldest in the jungle so far. She is approaching her 3rd week in flower.

All the other plants are starting from 12/12 in the tent. The huge tall one in the back, and the one alongside is The Pure. Do you see the stems on these ladies? And that one was just transplanted from a 2 liter. I've read that The Pure is a heavy yielder, and produces massive buds. I remember that the cut of this strain that I had was one of the most enjoyable sativa dominant strains I've had yet. I might transplant the other one in a 3 gallon in a while.

My plants love my tap water. Its perfect, I can feed them from faucet with no PH problems and with great response. I will not be buying that distilled water anymore, as the islands have blessed me with such great water. I'm still using my 400w MH bulb in there, as I will be ordering the HPS bulb this week as well as my carbon filter, superthrive, calmag, and root hormone.

Although I will be getting a less yield than initially projected, I will gladly take this set back as a balance with what I've learned as a grower.

Oh... that 1 gallon pot in the corner holds a fat ass, almost perfectly structured Sour Grapefruit seed... lets hope she shows.

Feminized seeds from now on...

Love from the Islands. :)

Whats good u finally came back around! Was starting to think u left the forum.. But yea bummer about all the male plants.. The females u have do look good so so thats what matters. wish i could see the big ones iso.. but yea u should clone the 1 ogb u have left. I wonder how those pure ones are gonna do under all 12/12.. but only thing i can think to say at the moment is keep training and making updates!

Aloha.

Small updates.

Wish, the only OGBS in there in flower showed two sacks, so I removed them, and she is doing so fine. No other signs of male parts, prolly was some ph stress from before. The Pure are all doing great, and all have been females. So far there are three Pures. I transplanted the second oldest due to root bound problems. She recovered greatly. Lets hope that the Grape is female.

I'm going to also soon run a clone trial for the OGBS, maybe plant about 5 of them and clone the female from 12/12.

So far I have 3 The Pure's going. One in the 3 Gallon, one in a 1 gallon, and one in a 2 liter waiting to be transplanted soon.

The third pheno is the youngest, and wow, it smells so fruity. The second pheno is more bushy than the others, and the first pheno has a slight diesel hint to it, and is frosting up nice and big.

This cut of The Pure that I got the seeds from, was one of the best Sativas I smoked ever. Its very creative.

Aloha. The islands are a smelling great here. Ahhh. :leaf::lol:

I'm not going to transplant anything into the 3 gals this grow because the girs won't get the most benefits from the bigger space unless I start them in the 3 gal, and I don't have the room for it anymore. So I'm just going to at most transplant the 2 lits to some 1 gallon Hawaiian Punch jugs just like the second oldest Pure cut going. She is the bushiest of the oldest, and she looks like a christmas tree. Clones have to be taken. The Sour Grape was a boy. Now, everything in here are girls. I believe there is a ogbs girl down there too also. Gotta get some clones.
