FIrst grow. Harvested two tops. Tell me what you think...

These top colas were massive but the rest of the plant isn't done so I only havested the tops. Here are some pics of the two. The strain is bubba kush.

Do you guys think I trimmed well since this is my first time, any advise would help. Thanks.

I was also wondering what you guys think these buds will weigh dry. They are 28 and 32 grams wet for a total of 60 grams wet.
60 grams wet= ? grams dry.

Would say that was a bit optimistic, work on the basis of a 3rd to 50% dry weight and you'll save any dissapointment, the denser your buds the less weight will be lost and by the looks of things you've done a top job, well done

also what kind of light were you using? Hydro or soil

I used a 1000w hps light and I grew in a mix of Roots Organics and Fox Farms soil.

its still drying. Its been drying for over a week and its still not done. I have it drying in a room with temps around 65 degrees.

You can lose up to 70% of wet weight. Those look nice tho!

Went from 60 wet to 15 dry. Didn't think it would lose that much weight but it is a very tasty smooth smoke.

wet weight X .24 will get you a
ballpark.
60 X .24=14.4
