First grow I need a little advice.

Calmag is overused. If you're using tap water and a soil like Fox Farms you don't need it at all. Excess calcium can lockup multiple nutrients making them unavailable to the plant.

You only need to use something like calmag if you have a calcium or magnesium deficiency. But if you have either one of those deficiencies there are better solutions than calmag. If you have a calcium deficiency treat the plant for that. The same with magnesium. But most of what people identify as a deficiency is caused from too much of something making what the plant is deficient in unavailable.

How the hell did calmag become something every new grower just fed their plants? Some are feeding calmag from day 1. It does more harm than good.
I will not use any calmag or anything else unless needed this next time. I want to try and keep everything as simple and effective as I can for a newbie.

The only reason you need calmag is if you're running hydro using RO water. Even then, any decent 2-3 part nutrient will provide adequate amounts of both. Looking at it from a perspective of plant nutrition there is no rationale for the abundance of the use of calmag.

I do know that many issues that some growers have is from an overuse of calmag from day one which leads to calciferous soil. That condition is easily amplified when growing in containers.

Hey guys my plant we thought was a male is showing signs of a female too. Is this a female or a hermie? If this was a clone would the mother plant also be a hermie? Or was this some type of stress I put on it? When I got the clone it was a month old and the plant it came from was an outside plant sprouted in April. Could switching it from outside to inside have caused this? Just started week 2 of flower yesterday. Just want to double check before I take it out of my tent and start over. Thank you!

Thanks for the response! Since it is a hermie I’m going to take it out and start fresh with the seeds I just got from ILGM. At least I know what it is and I’m not putting effort, time and money into nothing again.

Make sure you clean out the tent and clean everything in and outside of it as well! Good luck next go around!
