I am way way way behind you in my knowledge, it's never ending sure enough, I am at the very early stage of everything, snapped a branch mainlining, just taped it and supported it for now, fingers crossed, looking at DIY Led setup, your ladies look amazing the end product will make it all worthwhile mate.
I def had to tape a few branches on the grow that is featured in this journal, don't sweat it. Unless you totally snapped the bitch off. lol. I have to give people on here a lot of credit, I did a lot of lurking and reading, so much good info, and it's good to see everyone's different opinions and shit, then formulate your own plan.

We are damn near done! I was going to give them 36 hours of light after tonight/todays day period, but I am going to let it go a few more days... just in the past week they have swelled way more and all kinds of colas are starting to fall over lol. I gave them their last watering tonight, I'll let them go per usual until Wednesday morning, then I'll give them 36 hours of dark and cut them down Thursday night. Soooo stoked! Thanks for all the help everyone! These things smell incredible! Pics coming in a few!

Nicely done sir looking forward to seeing what you are doing next going to hangout and watch if you don't mind as always thank you for your time and the best of luck in all of your endeavors
Thanks Jeff! Man I am beyond excited haha. I didn't expect to knock it out the park on my first go... but it's looking pretty optimistic. Now I just have to keep it up. Going to run these strains until I find some keepers in my phenohunt tent. These are some amazing genetics, and the cuts from my good friend really bring out the best parts! Smells incredible!

Harvesting the plants tonight. At 7pm (9 hours from now) they will have been in the dark for 36 hours. I have been looking around at optimal drying conditions but I swear everywhere I look the temps/RH are different lol. Without any dehu/humi I am around 45-55% RH, temps around 60-65F. I am going to stick my dehu in there once they go in to regulate humidity, and it'll also create a little heat. I've got 2 small 8' fans on the floor, and a wall mounted 12' Hurricane, as well as a 4' exhaust (exhausts outside) with carbon filter. I am aiming to keep temp around 65F and RH around 55-60%. I'm hoping for a nice long dry, and if possible leave the buds on the plant to start the cure, so I am hoping for a minimum of 14 days hanging. What should my ideal temp/RH be? Is what I am planning on the money? Thanks.

I'd be careful on the fans, IMHO, one small fan, indirect on low would be best, just to have a little air movement.
You don't want to "blow dry" them. I don't think your temps/humid are that bad, should be good for about a 2wk dry.

good luck my friend,
once again, great job :weed:

Hung em up to dry in my room. We're sitting at 68F 55%RH. I cut the wall fan off and one of the small fans on the floor off. Just the one fan blowing down the middle at floor level, indirect. I have the exhaust running as well.20201104_213749.jpg20201104_213742.jpg20201104_213756.jpg20201104_213820.jpg20201104_213826.jpg20201104_213833.jpg

One of the stems snapped when I was trying to get the plant onto the hanger, but it wasn't enough to break it off totally, it's actually still hanging from the same branch... Should I remove it or let it stay since it seemed to be fine?

Eyyyy. Tent is cleaned and ready for the next round! Made a few adjustments to the tent. Added a fourth SF2000, a HTG 4' T5 with UV +Veg/Pure UV, and repositioned by far/deep red bulbs. We got 1090w in there now. I also put in a 4x4 cloth raised bed by Grassroots. Loaded up 125 gallons of supersoil that has been cooking for 16 weeks. Hit it with a tea tonight and gonna let it sit for a bit and get going, probably transplant next run in tomorrow. Then I just have to do some defol, get the scrog in and hit the gas!

I'll be making a new journal that will cover all of my progress moving forward since I cant edit the title of this thread... thanks for sticking along for the journey! I'll link the new thread once I put it together. I will probably summarize this first grow and then go from there.

Quick video of the 5x5...

Just finished trimming. Harvested Nov 3, started trimming last night, Nov 14, got 2 plants done and did the other 4 today. Got a solid 11-12 day dry. Oddly enough the stems still werent snapping, just kinking. A few snapped but not many. I thought I may had started a little early but so far the jars havent gotten over 58%, the first couple plants anyway, in about 16 hours.

Final weight was 20.17 oz of top shelf flower, about 4 oz of smalls/larf for bubble hash and another 4 oz of good trim. All in all I'm beyond psyched. Cant wait for the next harvest! Thanks for all the help, everyone that contributed. And to the lurkers, thanks for watching!

I'll be posting some nug shots once it has a little time in the jars.
