I'd suck air out of the grow room thru the scrubber then thru the light.

Next inline is your blower fan then exhauct out side. This will keep your grow chamber at neg. pressure. All air (smell) that leave the room must exit thru your odar controll system.

With this set up order your room can have lots of air leaks but the good news is everyone are just one way inlets of fress air for the little one.

Edit: Look at the dark pic each light leak is also an air leak. You have to put you nose to a crack to smell any thing and even then you aren't sure what it is it' so weak.

good luck hope this help.

exactly. i have that set up, only thing my diy carbon scrubber aint cutting the whole smell. make sure your scrubber is big enough. i think mines is to small so it doesn't pass thru enough filter.

I know a friend that has a job with air handling so I tricked him in to cal. the fan and filter size for my grow.

At the time I was at his house and we were stoned (he does not know I grow) while watching cops and a house bust . . . . . . . . long short he cal. the whole thing, I built to his speck and for mine its perfest.

The up side I leaned most of how to cal it my self. chunk and then i light crush

You need this info:
1) room size Width x Deep x Height = vol. Mine is about 3.5' x 3.5' x 8.5'
2) size and power of fan/blower. Mine 350 fpm ? I'd have to craw up and look for sur and I'm stooned.
3) inlet/outlet size. Mine 4" dryer hose.
4) he did a quick air flow cal. this part lost me.
5) he said a grow that size shocked him and about a 4" dia x 3" to 4" should handle some smelly stuff.
6) so just made my filter 5" thick in a 4" coffee can. I change evey 6 mount and vent out the second floor.

In summer the aparment building has lot of plant and flowers at ground level. The winter is fucken cold here so no would be near my vent and no steam out side as bounce the filter seams to stop it.

I use carbon from the pet store fish filter area.

see i'm doing an 8in outerlayer, 6in inner, 12 in long filled with pellets, maybe even a cut out filter around it too.. i figure my fan will be in the upper 200 cfms, there was a calc on one of the DIY filters that said this was about right..

as for putting the names on all of them, i'm not real worried about it, i don't know what any of them are, mostly bagseeds and the dank ones are unknown!

well i do know which ones are supposed to be dank (the ones that look REALLY edit: sativa)

indica's the one with real skinny leaves right? :dunce:

That is a very good one I almost made it utill I designed my own. Cost most but then I found this and I made it work with my coffie can you could use Panheads bags in your filter like I use in mine (I guess it take a lot of word to say thiis is the widgt part to make your gadget work) Then put this carbon bag in it. My $3 carbon filter. (by Panhead)

Edit: yep look at post 1 he found every part you still need and he tell were to by and how much. About 4 dollar and $8 by the time you use double the carbon two be save about $6 a bottle (I bought the exact stuff at the food store in two iles. pet and clean. I stapled mine tgether.

I clicked the link for your this fan "

Specifications: 435 CFM - 0.97 Amps

The amps seem low. may be light duty cycle.
435 CFM very good you can do add on dry box,
and for the small price of a steak dinner for MrsRocket you can add a clone mother attachment.

Well the venting took quite a bit longer than i expected.. but after two days and several late night trips to the HD, venting is done.. for now..

the little one was transplanted a lot later than the others.

I'm in the process of sealing up the closet now, just taking my temps!

I decided to blow through the light because i couldn't fit the fan inbetween floors. I did however add a 6" inline duct fan on the other side of the light, so it's blowing and pulling through the light.

They got their first taste of 12 hours dark last night, and FINALLY i'm flowering!!

I highly recommend noobs, like myself, get things like this worked out ahead of time! Could have been flowering for weeks..

and now i'm broke as a joke with no gaunja to smoke :cuss:

two inches, don't remember exactly thew away containers, but it's a 6'' inner core and 8'' outer, about 12'' long (not counting ducting pieces).

and the light does move up and down it's just challenging :), plants are 18"-24" away from the light now.

thx ^

well i found out what my mystery dank buds are, crystal;

Crystal Marijuana is White widow crossed with Northern lights. You get a bushy plant with large sticky buds. The Chrystal bud smell is a candy sweet aroma which adds to the good cerebral high. As the name suggests the buds are covered in THC glands. This gives an unusually clear buzz and a slightly delayed effect. Winner of the Highlife Cup in 2002!
