holy shit what have I been missing? these girls are BUSHES! they'll be monsters if you veg for another two week lol . It looks like you have a more indica-dominate strain of headband than Im growing and im jealous! keep up the good work man
Haha, I appreciate it 400, haven't seen ya in a while!! The lst has made some nice bushes for sure! And 6/6 females from bagseeds! I can't be mad at that :)! Yeah that headband is my favorite looking plant right now! If it even is a headband, lol! Its the only seed I'm not 100% on strain. I am about 90% sure its my headband seed though! All the girls are pretty indica dominate, except kush #1, which is quite sativa looking! Thanks again for the kind words. It's nice to know I'm doing an ok job for a first timer!

Well, I decided I had to name these girls. I need something to call them when I'm talking to them :). Since I love Greek mythology so much, I decided to go that route! Not your typical names, so bear with me!
Blueberry #1 - Aphrodite, goddess of love
Blueberry #2 - Athena, goddess of wisdom
Blueberry #3 - Demeter, goddess of the harvest
Afghan Kush #1 - Persephone, goddess of spring
Afghan Kush #2 - Chloris, goddess of flowers
Headband - Pandora, first mortal female

Loyalty, Great looking plants I can't wait to see some flowers on those ladies. It looks like your lst is working wonderfully, I subbed up and threw you some rep. Keep up the good work and I'll try to give any assistance I can with my limited knowledge. Happy Growing!!

Thanks bro! I can't wait to throw them into flower either! I'm getting impatient :)! Thanks for the sub and rep!!! Very happy to have another minnesotan here! I'm down in the cities though. Has winter been strange as Fuck in duluth also? We have had like 2" all winter!

update:

Took a few pictures this morning. The girls are showing no sign of nute burn at all!!! If anything, they are just getting an even deeper, lusher green!!! Next watering I'll give them a full strength dose of the nutrients :)!! Hopefully they will take off even more with the extra food! Can I feed every watering? I was thinking I would feed two waterings and then give them straight water every 3rd watering. I played around with the light a little and decided to raise it to a foot above the canopy. More light is getting to all the sides of pots. My "footprint" was too small with the light at 7" above the canopy. Just seems like more light is hitting everywhere. Nothing else to report really. My 3x3 area is going to be packed with all six plants! Ugh...I can't wait to flower!!

Nice update!

We've only got about a foot of snow here.. its pretty pathetic, just damn cold -35 today with the wind.

For my own self interests -If you can't wait then... FLIP EM! I can't wait to see some frosty buds man. But do what you feel is good.. things are looking really nice

I did the same thing with my light. felt like light wasn't reaching all around the top of the canopy as it was too close. Had to take out my fan from inside the tent and place it outside. Cut my hands all up on the ducting in the meantime.. dummy!

Yeah, hardly been winter here. I'm not complaining though, I'm not much a fan of snow/cold! It only got cold Herr this week! It was high 40s last week! Just ridiculous after the record setting winter we had last year! I really do want to flip bad, but I want as much yield as possible ya know?! I wanna be sure the wife and I don't have to buy EVER! If it wasn't so crowded and I had a deeper penetrating light I'd veg out till 2.5 ft. As is, I'll probably veg till they are about 1'7", or around there. I figure another 1.5 weeks or so till the flip. I won't be keeping you in suspense too much longer!! I think raising the light that few inches will be beneficial for us both! Ducting cuts suck. I had one that was basically a deep ass paper cut. Not fun.

loyalty--looking good man! Those things are really bushy! Hope they don't get too tall. I like your setup and methods so far--thanks for documenting this.

Thanks roadracer, I appreciate the love! They are bushy as hell bro, which is what I wanted...but I didn't think I'd have all females and have a space issue. I've got lots of room for them to grow vertically, but with such a dense canopy it would be a waste to grow em 4ft+. Not enough light penetration that far down. My next grow may be one big ass plant 4ft+ from a clone of one of these girls....if I ever get around to it :)! I'll keep these ladies a little taller than 3 ft by the time they stop growing. This journal has been an enormous help to me and its an added bonus that it'll help others along the way!

Yeah it has been crazy warm and there was very little snow when I left for christmas break. Right now I'm at home in southern Minnesota and it is even weirder here. Maybe someday we could smoke it up together haha. As for nutes I would just be careful about feeding too much, don't wanna nute burn those beautiful plants :joint::mrgreen:

man i am so jelous, your plants are looking amazing, i really think you should flip in my humble opinion :) and yeah feed every other, a really dark green can meen excess N and getting ready for the flip you can cut down a bit on the N (you said earlier a week and 1/2 before flip)

So much peer pressure to go 12/12 (Ottawa/brute) :)! Just a little longer I swear!!! It is becoming increasingly harder to not do it, watching your girls blossoming and all! Thanks as always brute for the Nitrogen tidbit!

judging from your pics i just dont see the sense in waiting. i humbly suggest you start a ne thread and ask the public, you will get a better quality/yeild than if you let them outgrow your rooom and have to chuck 1-2 plants. just my 2¢
