First Grow Tent need help with light

Hey Everyone im Hoping that somebody here with more knowledge can help me out a bit if done 4 indoor grows with my curent setup heres what im working with at the moment buy the way thanks to everybody Rollitup helped me set this up from all the research and im very happy!

Nightstand thats converted into a grow box
8 cfl light's 22w each
3 pc fans 2 intake 1 big exaust
Temps are perfect
Mylar refective materials
Growing meduim 50/50 coco perlite
Nutes Hortimix A/B + Hortimix bloom booster ife used other in the first 2 grows but this stuff is cheap and honestly i love it if had no problems with it at 3/4 dose i never take it to max dose
And im very happy with what ife got so far far better than what im buying I feed 3 times a week
Container is 7 liters
Yeilds 52g dry first run 26g second 41g third 54g last run

Now here's were i need your help so please bare with me first the hole idea is to get a bit more as im only growing one plant and i still end up having to buy more here is the plan il be using my curent setup to grow out a mother and use here only to clone for the new setup to run a perpetual sog small plants yeilding atleast 40g a plant so im sticking to the same containers growing meduim nutes everything im just doing more and hopefully with a little less training as height wont be as much a problem as in the night stand here is wat im looking at i know the growtent dimentions is n bit weird but if got the perfect space for it and would like youre input as to what light would work best for it so please dont advise me to buy a diferent setup im pretty much set on this just need a little help

Mini Xxl air cooled hood 6" size

6" centrifugal fan for exhaust thrue the light?
And 2 4" extraction fans for intake?

Light ?? What should i get a 400w or a 600w with considering temps im growing in a AC room and i would appreciate if you could tel me if im on the right track with the sog idea and setup any advise is welcome thanks guys!

Have you been training your past plants? SOG has value if u want quick flowers and plant count is not a limit. Usually would not be doing any training with SOG. Maybe just defoliating lower branches and lollipopping your colas. 40 g a plant would be pretty incredible. With SOG you could go anywhere from 8-32 plants in that footprint depending on strain. 400 watt would be good but 600 may be optimal. If I were you I would look into LED to keep the heat down. Am I correct in thinking this area is roughly 4' wide, 2' deep and 5' tall?

Hey 85300zx cob yes thats correct the tent is 4' wide , 2' deep and 5' tall i have been training my plants to form a nice even canopy in the setup i have now first 2 used a scrog screen but the last 2 did some lst tying them down and i like the lst more as i can remove my plant to flush no hassels with a screen i know in a traditional sog you would clone and put into flower as soon as roots pop but i was thingking of using less plant maby 8 to 12 leting them veg a couple of weeks like im doing now and then fliping them to 12/12
So i know this istn a traditional sog i wanna do the basic idea is just to get 8 to 12 40g plants (small plants) as for the leds im on a pretty tight budget leds would obviously be the next step im just woried about heat with the 600 i want to get the 600 because if a decide do go another step biger in the future il already have the one 600w and pairing that with another 600w would be great. I guess the best thing would be to get a dimeble ballast but that's just as expensive and a little out of my budget so im stuck between choosing ether a 600w magnetic or a 400w magnetic ambient temps in my house in the sumertime is about 20c with AC running winter would be no problem thanks for youre help Cob!

I'd say a 600. As long as you put a good fan on the light, it should be fine. I was running a duct booster fan on a 600 cool tube, it was warm, but I could touch the glass under the bulb. Once I went to a 6" inline fan, it stays cool, almost cold, to the touch. Wrap the hood in that mylar bubble wrap to help with the radiant heat and use insulated ducting. My ambient air never goes above 70F, 21C, and my room generally runs 75-78, except for three middle of summer, I'll see low 80s sometimes.

Thanks alot WeedFreak78 for your input im def leaning towards the 600w so youre saying go straight for a good inline fan 6" insulated ducking would you prefer a cooltube over a air cooled hood? Considering my footprint 2' by 4'

Yeah 600, 6"inline , insulated ducting, insulate your hood. I think either hood would work, I like cool tubes, but only because I can run them vertical or horizontal, with a reflector or without. I think flat glass had less lumen loss through it, but don't quote me. Get a dimmable digital ballast, then you can run 400 or 600. Gives some options if heat becomes an issue, just turn it down.

There's threads around comparing cool tubes to flat glass to open hoods. Get ready to wade through some heavy opinions. ..

Thanks WeedFreak78 that helped alot il go cheak some threads out about the cooltube hood refectors as for the dimmable ballast im on a tight budget but mabe its worth holding out until i can get the dimmable one that would make things a hole lot easiers thanks guys il report back when ive bought my gear get ready for a nice journal thanks for all the help!
