First Grow. Tips and Advice Welcome!

Bump because I need some advice on the height situation....

I get no love on my journal but I'll continue to update it anyways... lol

I started flowering about 4/15, so I guess this is 5 weeks and 4 days of flowering (plus or minus a day or two) The girls looks pretty good. I have since removed the hot shot pest strip I had hanging in the tent and haven't noticed many or any flying gnats, but I do see a few crawling on the tops of the soil. I did two waterings with azamaxx separated by 10-12 days probably about 2-3 weeks ago. Do you think I need to worry about the gnats / take any additional preventative measures??

She seems very healthy and I'm not worried about her at all.

Cinderella 99:

So both plants appear to be doing pretty damn well for my first grow. However, the C99 has shown signs of what I think is at least one deficiency....Maybe calcium or magnesium causing the spotting and nitrogen causing the larger fan leaves to yellow? Anyone have any input on this?

As you can see the trichomes are in various stages from mature to barely forming the heads.

I did topdress the C99 with about 2 cups of super soil and increased the calnmag to 2tsp / gal to hopefully get rid of the deficiency.
Does anyone have any input on if this will fix the problem?
It's kind of scaring me because I'm noticing this at the top:


You can see the tips of the leaves turning brownish. Is this possibly due to the gnats crawling on the top of my soil? Or would you say a deficiency?

I really want to figure this out so it doesn't ruin this girl! She's getting so close! Please give me some input!

Cmon guys! it's feeding day! Any ideas on what to add to keep this girl healthy!? PLEASE!

Things are looking pretty good at the moment. The C99 smells incredible, like fruity koolaid, and the aurora indica has taken on a spicier / headbandish type stink to it with little fruitiness at this point. I was hoping for fruity smells and tastes from both, but I guess I'll have to just wait and see...

The larger fan leaves on my C99 have been deteriorating rapidly and I still have not come across a definitive answer. Will she be okay? Is this normal?

Im a noob so with that being said. I looks you might have nutrient burn and lock out. I had the same problem I did a big flush. It seemed to help. But im so close to harvest. Have you done any flushing yet?

I am using sub's super soil, so flushing would only release more nutrients and increase the probability of nut burn, from what I've heard...

My C99 did the same thing during the last few weeks of flowering. It's the only plant to ever do that with me. Still have no idea but C99 is a quick finisher. I personally didn't let mine go over 56 days but checking the trichomes is always the best way. I had about 80% cloudy 10% amber and 10% clear when i harvested mine. My only complaint was that i didn't have more of it. Ha
