i need to get me some 2700k lights

cus im not getting no buds:confused:
You have buds.... they are just very airy, only 2 bulbs on that flowering plant??? How long did you veg(if you did) for before the 6 weeks of flower? What is the color temperature, wattage of the current 2 bulbs, also how far away are they. To me your plant seems a bit stretched for such small budz @ 6th week of flower! Mind addin some more pics, a wide-area pic to see overall height. That way we can see what needs improvement. This thread CFL Proximity To Foliage lays it down as to why the distance the bulbs(many) are from the plant is one of the key factors in bud growth.

I think it is in the 4th pic where you can see the leaf in the back ground, now I know it is not in focus an I am unaware if you have a canopy reflector but... to me it looks to shaded. There seems to be hardly any light saturation. There is an example of the importance of side lighting when growing with cfl's. When you look at your plant form a few feet away how much of the overall plant is gettin bathed(shined on) in lumens, do you kinda see a pyramid shape cast from the light being shaded... seems a lot darker at the bottom huh? Hard to tell, maybe your grow area is enclosed for that. We need more info, period!

im growing on bubbleponics. i got them on 2 cfl lights
one is a 7000 LUMEN~500w13" it is full spectrum 5000k
it is the biggest cfl avail. don;t really know how many watts it really is sense its cfl . i think its 105 watts
and the other one is a 6500K Spectrum
200 WaTTS oF PoWeR OuTPuT
and i added a 23 watt 2700k

from seed veg for 8 weeks
and its been on flowering, for 42 days, it looks small for 6 weeks if you ask me,
months flowering is 9-11 weeks, blue mystic
you think i should cut of fan leaves that are blockin the light and some bud sites?
well yea it was getting tall, maybe i veg too long, but the life in the bottom that wasnt getting light well they dried up and fell and i pulled out some t hat were about to fall, but maybe i should of flowered earlier but i wanted more bud sites,
and theres is some inthe bottom but barely any light is getting to them, sense it gots a bunch of leaves some bud sites get blocked, yea the one at the far isnt getting too much light well its actually part of one cus i topped it. i might have to get a 2700 light.
cus i should have some buds by now.

but i got the lights off right now ill take pics of them when i turn them on, yea they might look that they streached but it was all bushy i just cut of the leaves that was dying so it will looked streched but its cus i cleaned it up

what about LST growing?
well ill post pics in a lil bit

Honestly you should be using mostly 2700k(at least 2 to 1ratio), with the incorrect color spectrum your plant will not receive what it wants to provide bigger buds. I think it is best to have a number of smaller wattage bulbs so you can spread out the lumens effectively. If you had lots of smaller bulbs the lower foliage might not have all died off so soon, plus them lower budz get more light with out tying(as much) back an ya really don't want to cut. To much cutting might stress the plant.

I hate to say it, but this grow is not going to get to much better and it is almost over. Sure you can probably double the weight of them little buds by swapping out to 2700K an getting that light as close as possible to the leaves without damaging!

LST is something you usually start when the plant is flexible enough to lowly stress it by training, there are numerous ways to train. If you are interested in LST then consider it for your next grow. It will keep the plant low in height an have lots of bud sites(10-14+). Have you ever tried to clone? If interested take a low bud site an clip it to clone, that way you already have a female. Reintroduce into vegg after roots are well established to start that possible grow. Only if your interested.

yea im going to get me a 2700k cfl light 200 watt output
ill order it, i was going to get it dutch master advance flowering nutes, but it needs the light more
so if i get it this light will the buds start to swole up? i think it would been better if i started flowering earlier but i wanted it to be like a tree and get alot of busites, but i didnt have the right light.
maybe thats why its been takin forever to to get some buds.
yea next time im going to LST grow, and put a fence around it,
but i still want to get some buds out of this
what if i tie them closer to eachother so they in the same spot and they get the light?

i would close but ill just buy a different strain next time, i thought buds supose to turn blue halfway of flowering.
i still got like 5 weeks of flowering this baby i hope it gets better with the new light illl get it

but i thought 7000 lumes was supose to be good for the plant

-_- your not understanding yes the plant needs lumens but you need to spread it out. get alot of 26 watts or 42 watts and spread them around the plant

i ordered a 2700k 200 watt output. hopefully i get some buds with it, and i got like 3 23 watt but no where to hook them up . so ill see what happends.
i smelled the pistils and the begening of the bud on top and it smells fruity i cant wait till they swole up atleast if i get 2 ounces i be good
but i smoke alot they probably be gone in a week.

i was going to get it dutch master advance flowering nutes, but i guess it needs the light more huh?
and ill just keep using the nutes i got, but i noticed that the leaves are turning light yello almost white, must be from heat stress right?
i mean it was like 90 degrees in there, i had to open the door so it will drop down a lil i think i would need more fans

oh yea i fucked up last night when i was moving the plant well i was tryin to move a fan leave cus it was blockin a bud site and it broke.
like snaped off, hope that dont stress the plant too much and it was a good fan leave no damage like the other one . that hurt me.

oh yea
on the fan leaves why is the stem purple?

Yea man get mostly 2700K(spread out cuz u have to get close to plant with cfls) and ull c the difference.i been through the same thing with my current grow.i was like"where the fuck r the buds" the 2700K's focused more on the buds and fattened my plant(stems.buds,etc.)just give it time n i think u'll b satisfied in the end
NICE GROW BY THE WAY
p.s my stems went from redish to purplish about a week r 2 into flower(dont know if it had anything 2 do with it though)

It looks rather behind for 6 weeks in flower...it seems that it's caused by light deprivation... a plant in flowering should receive 10,000 lumens or more...which equals to at least 142 watts of cfl lighting, but remember, a light source loses more lumens, the further the light must travel, so keep cfl's 1-3 inches from the plant...

yea thats what i been sayin , that i got the pistils but no bud, like when does it start to fill in?
well i got a 7000 lumen cfl, and 2 23 wat 2700k, the 7000 lumens is 6500k
well im going to replace one of the 23 watt cfl to a 200 watt output 2700k the most powerfull 2700k cfl light they got, hope buds start to fill in with that one.ima put all of them together like get a string so the bud sites wont be all spread out and get light hopefully they start to swole up, cus it seems its taking forever..
but if i keep it an inch awayit get s hot and the lights might get heat stress. like the 7000 lumens gets real hot, maybe thats why its like 85 degrees in there.

The more light the better...but that also calls for more ventilation...and the more air you're able to move, the more lights you can install...

Thats an indica strain right? My master kush is the same way with the purple stem, i think its just cool. But yeah man if i were u right now, cuz u fucked up kinda hard id take like 4 cuttings and clone that bitch. Flowering clones will branch alot more and by the time ur harvesting this plant, youll still have some plants already on their 3rd or 4th set which will save you time buying new seeds etc

good luck on ur grow! and lemme know what the dry weight you pull off this baby is.
p.s u get these seeds from nirvana? i was thinkin bout pickin up the same strain

Once that 200w come in you should see a big difference. Color spectrum is a must. Will check back to see the difference. Enjoy!

You could probably still salvage this grow, most of the bud production occurs in the last 2 weeks, so if you can get more lights in there by then, you won't get "too" disappointed!
