To start off with this is not my first grow just first hps grow.
I have a 600 watt air coolled hood with 6" inline fan and carbon filter.
I ordered everything from HTG except for the tent that came through florahydroponics (off of amazon.com). Its the 600 watt digital system that starts out at 199 i added the easycool 6 got the 6" fan/filter combo hygrometer for aroung 500.00 then the tent was 225.00.
I have four plants only abouy a month from seed. They seem to be doing nicely under my cfl's so i'm hoping to see some even better results under the HPS. Just some bagseeds i got out of a kush genetic, not too sure of the lineage on the genetics but some very potent smoke. one of the plants has a little bit of a "droop" issue but they have only been under the hps for 2 days. temps are good between 75 and 83. 75 at night and 83 in the day. For them atleast i run lights 9pm to 9am to battle the heat outside. hasn't been too bad lately though, in the 60's. However humidity is hovering about 35-38 during the lights on, while soaring to 60 at lights off. i am going to get a humidifier on friday to see if it helps. here are some pics.
