easy tiger, i agree with you 100% about riu being the spot to learn, but at the same time lets put it as easy as possible, arguing is not a teaching method, and im not picking only you out of the line up, but that being said, you are giving great advice, but putting it a little harsh, its his first harvest, lay down the knoweledge but do it in a nice way, now lets roll one up and pass it around the class room:clap: :leaf: :joint::hump:
I did put it easy and nicely. When someone spreads false info i discourage it. some folks like to post things on here that aren't true for whatever reason. Your post has no helpful info in it whatsoever which makes it a waste of time and completely useless. if you think i'm being harsh, so sorry to hurt your feelings. I have the most respect for people searching for, and giving good information.

So your saying that when a strain is indica. One should start to flush when all trichs are cloudy!???
don't know who you're directing this question to, but this really depends on how long you wish to flush. Some folks don't even flush and think of it as sacreligious to do so. I disagree with these folks from my own personal experience and flush usually for two weeks. What you need to do is estimate when your plant is going to be a week or two weeks from harvest, and begin your flush at that point depending on how long you decide to flush for. When the trichomes are ready, most of the pistils have changed color and started to receed back into the calyx. You want to flush BEFORE this time. Really the only way to know exactly when to flush and harvest, is to know the strain you're growing. Experiment with it. But a safe way to know when it's done when you're first running a strain is the pistil method i mentioned above. Some guys will use a microscope, but they really aren't a neccesity, they just help you get a closer look. It's quite easy to see the color change on your buds when they are ripe. The leaves closest to the flowers sort of curl upwards, and there is a light gold tint to the buds. When those pistils are about 70% changed, she is either in or nearing her harvest window. REspect!

I think your pistils might be brown, but your trichomes are probably still clear or cloudy.

Nice sativas Cherno!! Shit is way early and sativas take such a long time... 10-14 weeks depends on the hybrid cross, did you get a headhigh rom those early buds you took from them? OMG no im giving bad advice again, haha  cant wait to see it fully ripe, its turning purple a tiny bit, prettyyyyyy! Good luck with the rest of the grow. Peace
