In the beginning they seem to be growing so slowly, but when they get bigger and want more and more water...you will sometimes wish they were growing just a bit slower! It's Einstein's theory of relativity. :)
Yeah I'm seeing that a bit! I also had my light way too high for a while so hopefully things pick up this next week or two! Thanks an be sure to keep stopping by!! More knowledge, more power!

So things have been going the same so far. I've tried to space my waterings out to a couple days to give the roots on the smaller plants a reason to stretch out into their homes! It seems to be working so far, no underwatering stress or anything like that and they are getting noticeably bigger by the day so I'm content for now :) but I am going to pull one of the 'chronic' seeds I planted. Here is a group shot from last night :)

It looks like your trays below your air pots are upside-down.

Cwinaz how's the north country? Are the Dogs gonna be good this year for some football?

To reply to your stantement yes they are, I forgot how much I don't like how the water sits in the trays, even after trying to drain out the excess over time/leaning the pots. So I turn them upside down to get the slightly extra airflow to the bottom.

I also gathered A LOT I the chunky coco and layer it on the bottom of all the 3-5 gal bags. This helps with drainage as well, this finer grade coco can hold water forever so I need help with that aspect.

Furthermore, Ive read/been told that the trays specifically are not as good as having airflow on all sides AND BOTTOM. My setup isn't ideal in this respect. (Along with many others, but changes are coming soon I hope!) however I have NOT done a respectable side by side of this theory so I cannot vouch for it. Just some wonky thing I do.. And there are alot of wonky things Bleezyboy does, just wait and see haha

these next posts will be an update so please do no post till I say I'm done!! Then you can comment the shit oit out of it :)

The watering schedule has been consistently every other day. I've been doing 1/3 strength waterings with the same nutes except this watering I did today I added Extreme Serene to the lineup.

I said I would pull one of the plants but I decided to wait till I go camping this weekend up north in the woods and I figured I will take it and plant it out somewhere and put seeds out and just let them go, not even come back to them and see if any breed and establish a wild population.(longshot I know, but can't a guy dream?!) I'm thinking of taking Forest Bound and unsexed#4 and possibly the second female clone that's rooting. Ill try to update you guys on this mission, I call it the university of reforestation. I wanna bring back the trees :)

Unsexed #1/3 are my fast growers and #2/4 suck pretty bad(#4 is Turning around tho.) #5 was topped and its top is rooting with the other girl clone not potted yet, and everyone's getting the same water too.

Here is a group shot just after replacing them after watering!

Next is a shot of the Mersh(Marsha) AKA Reggie. I was taking off some fan leaves and shoots that were clogging up the light to other tops and accidentally took one top off each side of the manifold so ill have a 6 or 12 headed beast! :D

Here are the clones I have rooting as well as one just potted off of Marsha, hence forth she will be Marsha#2. The unsexed is off of #5 and the other is Marsha#3

Now post as you would like please! This is mainly for me to keep track of this grow and to learn as much as possible from you guys and your vast knowledge! Teach me and others searching for knowledge here at RIU.. Please!!

Quick update, #1-3-4 are all pruned for 2 heads now with clones avail on the bottom node as well as the clone i took from the topping.

I gave Marsha a straight R/o water because she was hooking at the leaf tips an looks a wee bit too dark. So ill see how she looks tonight. The rest got their normal feeding of nutes with a runoff of at least 25% to keep any kind of buildup from happening.

Ill be going up north camping this weekend, leaving tomorrow morning and getting back Sunday. So should they be fine while I'm gone with an extra day without water?

anyways thanks for stoping by!

I would leave the runts if you have room, often females will go slower than the males, and it is not really costing you anything but space if you have it.

You are probably seeing slightly slower growth because you went right into those larger pots, so they will be focusing on root expansion for a bit. Nothing wrong with that, but you might consider stepping your pot sizes up in phases. I like solo cup -> 1g -> 3-5g

They look great, will be following along.

Thanks Hbbum, it's good to have you aboard.

Yeah now that you say that the slower ones went right into the big pots and the bigger ones stayed in a party cup size container a while longer. I should have noticed that, thanks for the heads up and calming my nerves lol.

Hey guys its been a little while since I updated but I wanted y'all to know everything is going well!

I had to back the waterings off to about every three days or so an the plants actually responded well, I might have been overdoing it with every day or two waterings, even tho that's what I've read/ been told by more advanced growers. Maybe I was just doing it wrong?

Anyways I have done a bit of work on these plants so they look alot different now :) and that's good.

Ill try to update with pictures tonight! If not it'll be Sunday or Monday before I have a chance! Thanks for stopping by!!

dont listen to everything that everyone tells you.. listen to what your plants tell you.

there is a lot of misleading information out there.

So here are a few pics and comments!!

As I said waterings have gone to every three days or so and feeding sits between 1/6-1/2 strength but I think 1/4-1/3 is ideal, none f these seem to be heavy feeders.
Please someone speak up if any def. exist as I feel things look okay!

The only real problem I have is Marsha got an additional super cropping while drunk and half the plant recovered and the other half didnt! You can see the half by the cups is far smaller than the other half. This plant will get another week or two and then ill start manually pulling it to start flowering. Get things going :)

the rest have been started in the mainlining process and I'm optimistic about things right now. *fingers crossed*

this post has Marsha and unsexed plants #1-3

Also I'm on my phone so it will take two posts to put my pics up, thanks for waiting till I've posted them all to comment!

For those who care I've gone to Instagram with this grow and my life around smoking/growing. Anyone interested in following its under 'phx_grown_480'

I've also got clones of two of the unsexed plants going to 'flower' to be sexed. Basically I'm just pulling them out with Marsha till they show sex. After that Ill probably keep them for moms(if they are female of course) in case any are keepers after this first run. #1 and #3 caught my eye in veg as well as Marsha so we will see what they turn out like!

Thanks for the love you guys!
