First hydro grow w/ pics: NL

reef: Thanks for all the tips. Ill go get the clamp tomorrow as i plan to drink from this unit a lot (its getting installed int he kitchen).
No RO unit still... I guess it will be here Monday.

I switched over to HPS. set my timer for 12/12. Switched over the res to mostly bloom. Not exactly sure when to use the Kaboom.

Took about 5 more clones (still in the hopes of a girl). Put them in this little aero cloner i got. I used clone gel even though they say you dont need it with this unit.

Here are some pics of the clones and the plant AFTER i took all the clones.

PPM is about 450 right now... This is the most i ever had it at. my tap is about 140ish. I know this is on the low side w/ nutes but everyone said it looks great so why should i add more?

when i grow 8-12 little girls in here im going to need a bigger air pump and more stones. Does anyone know any good pumps with around 8 stones?

Here is a picture of the plant under HPS for only 6 hours. It looks like it grew a lot over the past 12 hours!

MY F2 Savannah cat got a hold of my clones. All but 2 were left in the cloner. I found clones in all various places in my house... Doesnt looks like the main stems are harmed but they are drooping really bad. But he is a wild cat so i cant yell at him...

A lot of growth over the past few days. Hope to be able to tell sex top of next week.

I too have that system and I used it once for one grow, grew 14 plants and 7 were female. I had problems with my plants hitting the top of my system so I learned to flower early. I am now on to growing bigger plants in 5 gallon buckets. It is a good system, just watch out for root rot! It was my worst enemy with this thing. You seem to be doing fine tho....good luck bro. Thats going to be a big healthy plant mate.

yup that would be a male save it pollinate ur female slightly if its a good strain so u got some seeds

It has balls everywhere!!! I think its a male!! NOOO But there are white hairs coming out of almost all the balls. Check out the attached pictures... Let me know what u guys think

If it is indeed a male, im sort-of happy. This plant is already 3ft tall and its only 40 days old. i think i need to go 12/12 on week 2 with this grow box.

Well i couldnt just cut it down.... So while my new babies germ, i decided to let this grow. It has gotten huge. It has almost outgrown my box. I came home today and it was growing to the side of the light. When i left this morning it was 3-4" under the light... Almost 1/2 a foot of growth in 8 hours!!!

But what is it? Seems like 50% of the balls have 1 if not more pistols coming out of it. Is it worth it for me to continue with this plant? My clones look great but those are getting trashed... unless there is anything i can do with this stuff.?

What should i do with this crap?

yeah its a hermie. cut the balls. but even if you do you will prob still get seed in your bud but not as much

im letting the hermie grow for future seeds. In the meantime i planted some more seeds and am building another grow box so i can have one for veg/germ and one for bloom.
