First Indoor Grow In Shed 600w Journel

so first 2 pics are the ones with the (CLAW) please help, the rest seem fine.
i have only given 2 feeds so far but at the recommended dose??

made the switch to 12/12 so thats about 26 days veg and they are about 12-14 inch high

so my tap water is showing 8 ph thats why i suppose, i cant water yet until tomorrow evening, i will adjust with a few drops of vinegar

Hey Smurfy, i.m a UK grower myself. My water is 8 too but a drop of ph down sorts it out. Your plants are looking damn fine, think i'm gonna go for quite a few next time too. Seems such a waste of resources to be only doing two. Never mind, learning slowly eh

make sure when dropping ph try to do it over a time period say a week and only drop 0.5 at a time as big drops in ph may and can stress and damage the plants. i have done big drops myself and had no bad reactions but see it done and seen bad reactions even lock out so be careful . also the claw can be from over feeding. i grow white widow and they get the claw from over fert. could i ask how you doing youre food measurements i.e are u using ppm / ec or feeding by mill to liter. also what range of food. i.e canna ect ect as in most cases you should never follow the companies recommended dose. also it is normal . when u have say 10 plants. that they will be a few that need the ppm/ec food strength different from the rest. aslo how much water/food you running through them. aslo they looking like the might be a mag deff on the way on the 2nd pitcure do you have any small brown spots on any of the middle to lower leafs i just can not tell from the pics. i on my phone my fault. i go home now and have a look on the laptop

hey evie thanks for input and yes fill that space up

so i have no heater for off hours and temps were getting to about 40 degrees F, i bought a small heater and put it on timer to come on for half an hour then off for 45 minutes and so on to save electric, well see what happens.

Are you running your lights at night or during the day? Easier to heat your shed during the day when its warmer and run lights at night for heat. Looking good.

Yeh, and its cheaper to run your electric during the evening/early morning here in the uk

and note the bigger fan its a stand up one but i took off the legs and screwed to the ceiling, ha ha.

hey scot yes i run from 16.30 to 04.30 on cycle, i have the heater on for 15 minutes on and an hour off, yesterday i checked and now 75 % of them are now pointing to the sky

yes note to self and everyone else (do not use a fan heater in your grow room) far too hot and dry, fucking clawed 6 of my girls, so got rid of that. i have ordered a 4 foot greenhouse tube and that will be on when the light is off, have got rid of the big fan too, back to the small on. I fed them yesterday as they seem to have perked up without the heater, so fingers crossed we can settle down now, fucking not easy this growing lark, well hopefully about 8 weeks left till smoking time

right problems, please help as i said above i watered at half strength and about 6 out of 17 are like this, i only water them every 3 days

Cut the nutes; check your pH and do a mild flush. That means flushing with a mild (1/8-1/4 strength) nutrient solution at the 2-3x water to soil. So if you're growing in a 2 gallon pot, you flush w/ 4-6 gallons if water. 3 gallon pot; 6-9 gallons of water etc...
You'd probably be ok if you just watered with plain water for the next 2 waterings...maybe just one.

ok so nearly 2 weeks since my last post, i have been working like a bitch thats why and because of light times i cant get in whenever i want. i have had a few problems with half of them clawing up, this has only happened since i started using nutes, the ones that look fine have responded to the biobixx bloom ok and the rest just didnt like it so i flushed them with 5 litres of water each yesterday.

ihere are some pics please feel free to have a look, if they perk up i may just not use nutes ????? any suggestions, i just dont want anymore fucking hermie problems

so to sum up my first indoor grow. i was left with 5 half decent plants, and guess what, yes, i had a hermie caused by stress caused by over doing the nutes, i have 4 oz dry 3 bubblicious and 1 papaya. i must say that the bubblicious is absolutely amazing to smoke.
i think in the end i realised that you have to go through a whole grow cycle to learn rather than researching on t'internet, nothing can prepare you for what you are doing if facing it alone, i am far from an experienced grower but now i am a grower with some experience..

i have decided to go less plants and veg longer this time as to only have 5 plants it will be easier to keep an eye on them ( 5 northern lights fems) got them from nirvana and they all popped, i have now added a 250hps to my grow room for vegging man that 600w is expensixe to run, anyway thanks for your help all who tried...

Can I just check, you said you grow these in your shed? I'm a UK grower and had some in my shed last year, under CFL's, and in the summer the heat in there was witting 30c. As much the roof of my shed was bright white as police choppers flew over, and I had one circling my shed, for about 5 minutes, only twenty metres above house height. I cleared the shed at the end of the harvest, and nothing ever came of it. But I am concerned about your HPS making your grow room like a red rag to a bull!
