Hello Rollitup, so this is my first MMJ grow under a 250w Hps. I have read countless forums and I think I might be doing ok.

Setup:
250w Hps from HTG
DR60 Grow Tent
I made a cooltube using a Pyrex bake-a-round and have a 4" inline fan for exhaust.
4" Fan inside tent
Need carbon filter!! But it smells so good..

Nutes:
Ancient Amber
Buddha Grow
Extreme Serene
Soul Synthetics Grow
I am using Roots Organic soil with a few of the Roots Organic nute.
The NPK is 7-3.3-2.75 for Vegging

I have two Aurora Indica (one which was a safeguard for my cats) and a clone which I believe is BC Gods Bud. The AI is just about 11" tall planted in a 3 gallon container I might transplant depending on space. The AI was topped once and I have been trimming the fan leaves a bit to allow more lighting. The Gods Bud is in ready for me to take trimming but payday is soon.

Any tips or advice would be much appreciated. Let me know how they are doing?

They're looking pretty, you're doing just fine. How far away is your lamp from the tops of the plants?

Tips: The plants are growing really wide leaves. This is either genetics, or a response to being a little farther away from the light than it wants to be. You do want to have a 12-18'' heat-bubble around an hps-lamp. But it's good to push your plant a little bit, to find her sweet-spot. Because every strain, sometimes every plant, has its favorite.
You can also try trimming back some of the fan leaves, (or leaf-tucking) in order to allow more light to the vegetative branches. I've had great success with "halfing" fan leaves. More specifically, I cut-off about 1/3 of each finger from the fan leaves that are really blocking potential. Your second picture is a good example; the biggest sets of fan-leaves on the taller colas are preventing the smaller ones from catching up to the rest of the canopy. And of course you don't really have to worry about the big fans that are leaning over the outside edges. Grow on brotha!

Light was moved down from 26" to 17" its about the closet I could get with the ducting I currently have. I was tempted a week or two ago to trim back the fan leaves 1/3 to allow more light so I finaly did.

It has been some time since I have last updated my post so here it is. Still Feeding the same NPK ratio I trimmed a few fans leaves and I started to somewhat LST one of the Ladies. My Aurora is starting to show her pistels and the other lady is BC Gods Bud. Any input would be nice.!!!

Today they are 9 weeks old from Seed they seem to be a bit small but I also know that growing from seeds takes longer..
