First Outdoor Grow: Blue Cheese

Got an email from the forum wishing me a happy birthday, so thought I'd return to make a "Medically Compliant" birthday post..

This is my first time growing outdoors. Planted these two as young clones back in April, and all seems to be going well.

Plant 1 is about 6ft. tall

Plant 2 is 7ft. tall

After I snapped those pics I did go back out and trimmed the lower sections a bit.
I'm going to let these two grow as tall as they please. My indoor plants get LST training from day 1.. so wanted to see what sunshine and lack of training can lead to.
I.e.. cannabis at it's fullest potential.

had a buddy let his bubba kush grow 9+ and did not trim it and let it go al natural and it was a bunch of pop corny airy stuff on about the lower 3/4ths

plant 2 looks like it has some nice stealth weeds in the back had to look close to see if it was mj or not..

nah.. that one is in there all by itself. Wanted to experiment a bit before I grew anymore outside. We have a lot of bugs and stuff out here, so was kind of nervous. Out of my 12 allowed plants, these are the only 2 that aren't under MH/HPS.
Even though our place is pretty isolated and surrounded by privacy fences, I was still nervous about growing outside. So plant 2 is my "hidden in plain sight" paranoia grow at it's best. Where as plant 1 is my "full sun" grow.

crappy iPhone pic of my wife posing with the girls..
Wow, that pic really sucks. Guess I'll have to go out with the actual camera next time.

Thought it was about time for an update. All of the girls are finally in flower and/or pre-flower..

Some clones I forgot to bring inside and put back into the veg chamber. They're all starting to flower, so guess I'll just leave them out to produce a few extra grams.

Looking good man. What are you feeding? Def Kicking ass for a first time Outdoor. Keep em happy.
Hey, you're the growing growing growing guy!! I just went through your entire thread start to finish yesterday.. You definitely give me something to work towards.
I actually haven't fed them much of anything. Gave them some Ionic Bloom last week, but that's it.

Lookin good CP, you doin a good job with less is more theory. It's fun to watch them grow outside. Just cuz people don't post doesn't mean they aren't lookin at your girls. Get your wife to pose with them some more lol. We all love chicks with weed pics!! keep the updates coming, nothing worse than a thread that tails off just as the best part of the season arrives.

Thanks man, I recommend MaxSea to everyone. Very easy to use and Ph balanced. But it seems like you got a good thing going anyways :)

I guess I'm just a stickler in the sense that, people's comments keep me posting. If we don't give each other some sort of positive reinforcement, then what's the point?

I actually have some MaxSea and GrowMore both. They're safe to use on the carnivorous plants (Urea Free), so I like to keep them on hand.
Also while I have you here, how tall is that privacy fence of yours? That was the first thing that lured me into your thread, since I'm wanting to build myself a new one around the entire property. The existing one here is starting to fall apart..

So far it's WAY better..
Haven't had a single issue yet with bugs, which was my biggest worry.
The electric bill is down $300 a month.
The plants are 10x's bigger, and 10x's healthier.
And when it comes time to harvest I know the rewards will be substantial.
Only problem I've had so far (other than ripper paranoia), is the biggest girl (now 10ft tall x 6.5ft wide) had to be anchored down in all directions. She was so top heavy that after a couple storms, she almost ripped herself right out of the ground.

With all the useful threads going on right now, I think I've picked up enough tips to have a smooth grow next year. But we shall see..
