ok! question #1 is about container size. i have read some place that because they autoflower they do not need much room for root space. some people use 1gal containers. some i hear use smaller containers. i am hoping i can use no bigger then 2gal containers so i can cram a lot more plants in my tent. see, i was growing perpetually. and i had a-fucking-phids! little fuckers fucked up my whole shit! so needless to say, i have only 1 plant flowering as we speak instead of he normal 9-16 i could have had. live, learn, and move on!! since i have decided to start over i was hoping to speed up my next harvest a little by growing out all the free autoflowering strains i have go over the past few seed orders i have placed. i have enough to fill a tent. i just need a little info on container size. i do kn ow the rule of 1gal/month. but i have heard AF plants are different. please help. thank you in advance! i had another question, but i forgot.

I used a one gallon pot (going to chop them in a few minutes too YAY!) and the next time around I'll go with a 2 or maybe even bigger.

yeah it was hear that i read about the smaller container thing. but it still seems like it would be good to use a pot for the correct amount of time: 1 month/1gal.

if your not into rock-wool I'd recommend planting in root it, or root riot with the autos it seems they perform better with a decent initial rooting

oh i see what your saying. i have them foam-like plugs. cant think of the damn name of them. i have rockwool. just never used them yet. but i will def take your words as a good suggestion and try it out. i mean i have them rockwool, and have had them for a few months now. can;t return them. might as well put them to good use. i just used the jiffy pucks and them foam plugs for clones. but i have all 3 so i can try them all out and see. so you suggest to not germinate in straight soil?? i usually do that, or in a shot glass full of water. once they pop i move to soil. i will be using Roots Organic on the AF's i have and going to be on the Botanicare nute line.

well I started all my autos in Biobizz light mix with some root juice but I could imagine them growing a lot faster, bushier and finish quicker with a perfect start, it doesn't really matter which medium you start with as long as you have a decent rooting formula with Mycorrhizal Fungi. But since you've already got the rockwool plugs theres no harm trying ;)

Hey man fuck that 2 gal pot shit... As the other guys suggest Id go with at least 3 gal but I use 5 Gal. I mean if it increases your yield even half an O isn't it still worth it??? Also, more soil, less chance you will over water it. Especially if you add 20 percent perlite to your medium. Also, I like the advice you were given about transplanting only once. Auto's can have fragile root systems and the less you fuck around with them the better. Hope this helps

YES!!! it does greatly. i just read somewhere they had a smaller root system in general and did not need much size for a container. but hellz yeah i will grow them in a 3gal if i can yeild an extra half ounce. THAT IS THE POINT TO ME GROWING THESE MUTANTS!!A LMFAO!!

Big pots = big root mass = big yealds reguardless of what your growing.
Give em' more spacing in the tent & watch them grow bigger than when when crammed in tight together..
Don't transplant Auto's if you can help it, plants germinated in soil till & grew till harvest did way better than ones that I replanted by over half.
I grow in soil with a bunch of pearlite & found that a looser mix drys quicker & can be fed more often.
