Hi brother! My first grow this time in coco so i jumped in at the deep end to be honest. Had a few fuck ups with PH but now ok. Currently on 5th week of flower (take a look at my latest threads for pics) and all is going well! Just remember to keep your PH set at 5.8 everytime going in and ul be fine. Also its treated very differently than soil because its an inert medium meaning it only feeds what it takes in. I flush every 7th watering an feed every time. Dont do a cycle like water, water, feed or feed, water...make sure ufeed every time. Other than that i havnt had any major problems to be honest. Pretty pleased with how its all gone! Hope it goes as well for you! Good luck buddy

I can't tell you much, but I have read from many that you want the PH like you say you have.
(Hydro PH)
Good luck! Been doing your reading, huh.

Cal/Mag is a Coco growers right hand tool , to the left as mentioned a Ph meter .. I grow in Coco and my Ph of feed ranges from 5.8-6.2 depending on what stage of growth they are in and it also depends on the strain , some like it more sour than others ..

Calcium and Magnesium deficiencies are very common with Coco as well and depending on the brand used salts can be problematic from the get go , hence most coco growers rinse and charge with Cal/Mag ...

Have fun , Coco is the best of two worlds when watering by hand its like soil but the growth rate is more comparable to Hydro .. Yields are excellent as long as you stay on top of feeding schedules ..

He is saying when you flush make sure you flush with a small amount of nutrients. You don't want to strip the micro nutrients and the beneficial bacteria out of your meduim. And flushing with straight water will do that. Make sure your Ph is around 5.8. I don't think you should use cal/mag every feed once or twice a week should be fine. Keep your medium fairly moist, don't dry out your plants. Use prewashed coco, I use canna coco with house and garden nutrients. Starting out cheap in the beginning will cost you in the end. You could use brick style coco that needs to be rinsed and be ok, but I find more than not people run into problems with that stuff.

Peace

Deffo what salt said, i use canna coco also and everythings going ok! On your flush day i didnt mean flush with 3x the weight of the medium and all that bullshit. As long as your flushing with about 30% run off with very low nutes with a PH at 5.8 you should be fine. I always feed everytime with around 20-30% run off. This is important because of salt build up like you said before. Of what ive read people higher there PH in flower to around 6.0 mark which i dont no why because your only getting sulphur as an added extra and ur locking out others? But anyway. Good luck!

Your problem with burning them at 3 weeks in veg could have been because FFOF is high in nutrients. Dont think your supposed to feed for a month in that stuff. Think I read it on here.
