Looks burned to fuck... how much you been feeding it.... too much by the looks of it... the other guy said it looks hungry.... but itnlooks locked out to me
Like I said before I haven't been feeding it because I was told by others on this forum previously that FFOF has everything it needs. Not a single addition has been made except distilled water.

In the fall leaves on plants change colors. But they do not turn crunchy till they hit the ground. You want the plant to change color but not actually drop the leaves.

If you just fed water with soil your plant ran out of food around when it went into flower.

Need to look into top dressing or pic a fert line for flower. That soil should be enough for veg. But you need to feed in flower.
I started looking into it but got overwhelmed. Bought some garden lime and alfalfa but I'm not very good at diagnosing what it needs more of in the first place. Also autos grow in such a short timeframe, is top dressing relevant?
I should have added more dirt once it started to go down cause the soil right now is way down. That much I know for sure for the seedling. Maybe that alone will fix the issue since it will have more nutes to absorb. This is the second attempt at GG4 that I've been starting LST on.

I think the only people going seed to harvest without feeding are people running super soils.

Def need to feed when using the soil you did unless you up pot at flower. Soil has a few weeks of food but not 8-10 worth.

The goal is to get to harvest with a nice green plant that has some color change in the leaves.

Thank you all for the quick and helpful responses! I will be more vigilant for when the signs start showing up.

That's your problem..... dont use distilled water... tap water will do fine... leave it standing for 24 hours and correct the ph.

To test the ph I have to top water and I capture the runoff somehow? I'll have to research how to do that. I'm used to just bottom watering with a tray I put under the pot and I pour more in until the soil is slightly moist every few days.

No... you just ph the water you give. Forget about measuring run off. I wouldn't water from the bottom either... your not washing away excess salts from feeding and excrement from roots.

Now I'm thinking you have a ph issue.... and underfeeding

Next time just feed your damn plants. Unless youre using some sort of no till or super soil you’ll need to feed. Also it’s not some leafless strain you have it has literally eaten itself to the point of death. No matter what you do at this point it will never do anything more past what you see. You need to start over and come up with a simple feeding plan and go from there. It doesn’t have to be fancy or expensive but you’ll have to feed. In soil you’ll be fine on ph if you get decent soil. I don’t worry with ph unless I’m in coco or something. Either way good luck on your next run.

According to the city report there is .33 mg/l due to fertilizer and leaching from septic pipes in the tap water. But normally I only use distilled water because I was told FFOF has everything it needs for the duration. Here is the whole plant. I tied the top part because the plant was leaning heavy.

The buds are still growing I'm watching it everyday. I gave it a 3/4 dose of Flora Micro and Cal Mag just for shits and giggles. Yes I messed up but this is much better than nothing. :D

Plus I have the 3 week old plant that I have to start looking out for signs of nutrient deficiency lol.

My plant has been flowering for approximately 9 weeks. It'll be 10 on Wednesday. My question is does it look ready now or should I give it a couple weeks? I've been cutting too early so I want to get this part right.

Issues I had this run were I used tap water one time late into flower so it ended up a bit high in nitrogen, and I switched it from 12/12 to 18/6 near this time as well because it was in there with a photo. These two caused it to be more stressed than I would've liked.
I am on 6th round of clones from my first gg4 bean. To me it looks thirsty. And a bit light stressed. Out of the strains i play with for personal this girl seems to like a ton of water..not too much light..and sitting on 80 degrees. My humidity hovers at45/55. Just a personal observation. Lost a few to differing reasons but now it is like an assembly line. Picture is 2nd gen mother i flowered and babies. New mother in solo tent spoiled and happy.

P.S. PH is important. They HATE fluctuation over a .5 up or down . I run 6.2-6.7. These are all personal observations from my grows. First rounds i went too early. I am a medical user and found a 10% amber or so is perfect for ME. Watering for mine is every other day and nutes 3rd water. These things are TOUGH so if a problem push through it. I vegged that mother 8 months before flower..lol.

Right to the dumpster sorry

Fried like a drumstick… malformed flowers , deficiencies, bad lighting.

2 taps to the dome.

I have good lighting just looks weird because I used flash on my phone. So here I am at the first sign of deficiency on the next grow. Do I add flora micro to the distilled water for nutes? Also this is a newbie forum so I thought I would feel more comfortable here but some of you guys are brutal lol.

You locked it out with all this adding stuff.

Start over and rather then getting nutes happy. Get a good super mix and just try to push the first month or so with water and get the general idea on how a plants roots uptake nutrition

I didn't add anything. It's just FFOF soil and I use distilled water only. That comment was made about the previous plant which went to hell. This picture is of the next grow like I said.

FFOF is a fantastic soil, BUT it does not have everything you need for the duration. It does not need any nutrient enhancement for the first four weeks or so but after that it needs a regular regimen of nutes. Good luck!
