Hello to all. How are you'll doing. I'm a first time grower. I have a seedling that's 1 week 3 days old. My concern is light. I have 2 CFL spiral(600 lumens each and 12w). Is that sufficient enough or too much. It looks like it has stopped growing. What must I do

Get bigger cfls. A splitter with two big (i dont know the equivalents bit i thought it was like 150 w equiv, 42 real watts) over it will get it back going again. 10 bucks a piece.

Also with that small of a light source you could build a box maybe to reflect? I have a friend who took a couple of reflective sheets of insulation and what would be like "chip clips" so for around 20 bucks he made a small portable reflective box for his babies. You can get a 4x8 sheet 1in thick reflective on 1 side at a home depot for like 13 bucks. Thats actually how i did my ceiling in my room because it was a cheap way to start out.

Mind dropping a pic of your baby and the setup? Did you try reflecting? Are you using nutrients? Also the original post was only saturday so if you just got the new lights set up it may take a couple of days for her to start taking off. Shes only a baby after all. So try giving her another day or so and you might start to see.

How long do you have your lights on per day? If any, what nutrients are you using? Are you following a schedule? It could be multiple things. Just trying to get a whole picture so i can try to help better.
