Hello,

I have been reading a lot and I feel so lucky to get all this advice as a first time grower, I was doing scary amazing bro, I’m talking pistols day 15 good, vibrant just amazing, did some LST and snapped my shit, barely snapped but it snapped, there’s a slight tear/slit in the epidermal of the main stalk, I left it alone but it’s still in the lST position .it’s a very small tear/cut but I can tell she didn’t appreciate it and the leaves were showing me that, it’s the next day and I’m scared to look. Any advice would be great, I think it will recover but my question is does it have to heal first before it starts growing again and how bad will my yield be affected it was a bad day all around

Update: to be 100% honest I don’t think taping or splinting is necessary, it’s literally a super tiny slit in the stalk, I’m watching it closely and I wanna say it’s healing but(seems a little darker where the gash is) I hope tht bitch just closes up and isn’t like a permanent gash, I left it in the LST position and she did her thing with perking up, I’m just scary now about bending it any more. Im using hempwick string for now waiting on some legit garden wire to come in, day 16-17 I just joined because I haven’t seen a situation quite like this where it snapped just ever so slightly but I just kept it pushing, if I’m being honest I do feel like growth did slow which is sad but I’m happy to see the leaves looking aight.

I am using 75% ocean forest 25% percent happy frog a-little perlite( wish I added more).I popped her in the soil February 13th no cap and today is March 2nd. I’m waiting for some earth dust to come in which I plan on amending around day 30.

I got so much advice from videos and reading that I can’t help but share the wealth(my methods).

my tent is super Tiny 24x24x36, installing inline fan and filter( not sure how yet with the limited space but yeee) soon when she starts to really smell.

please tell me what y’all think, I’m taking any and all feedback

wow it’s so amazing to see reply’s so quick, definitely made the right decision with finally creating this. Thank you

first time grower again and super stoked as you can tell

sheesh yea that’s what I like to see tho, I was tripping about the little cut she got, but my main thing is I just don’t want the yeild to be affected by much especially since it’s the main and she’s still a baby, thanks for that pic

That's fine man, just keep moving forward. Next time take more time bending like a bit today than a bit more tomorrow. Or you could pinch the stock crushing the inside while leaving the outside in tact. That will allow it to bend and not break. Good luck.
