First Time Grower w/ Questions?!

Whats up everybody, I'm a new member but I've been reading some threads here for a while. I've decided to try and grow my first plant, but like everybody else I have some questions before I get started.

I have a mini refrigerator that is about 3 1/2 feet tall and I was thinking about gutting the inside and growing it in there. Would this work? I've been reading different ways to grow indoors (a small amount really), even thought about purchasing an Aerogarden Deluxe.

Also, do you guys have any websites that you would recommend to purchase seeds and growing supplies?

If you have any pointers that I may have not read please feel free to share them.

say no to ebay. they have been known to report (large) purchases of grow supplies to the feds.

yes the mini fridge would work, but heat from lights could be a problem. might be able to get away with a 250W HPS, but i'd use use a 150W if you went with HID lighting. definitely invest in a good venting system.

We're starting budsicles with an Aerogarden for giggles but for starting out just try a few CFL's and bag seeds. Don't bother investing in expensive things until you figure out the basics and then can decide how you'd like to grow.
