managed to find some 42w bulbs online cheap. Any idea what 5 x 42w 6500k and 5 2800k+ mixed bulbs could get me if done with good nutes etc. Only looking to do one plant at the moment, maybe 2 tops. I Will be addin more bulbs but will start off with 8-10 42w. Using bagseed which is currently only gettin sunlight - will post the exact size of the room I'm using in the next couple of days. Its basically a box bedroom

you could easily get away with only using 2 daytime cfl's for the first two weeks of its life. as a seedling there really is no need for that much light or to use the extra electric.

as long as you take good care of your plant without overdoing it your plant will turn out great. look over your plant daily to catch any deficiencies / issues happening and stop them before its out of hand. post pics on here with issues you run into and your plant will turn out great.

what line of nutrients are you planning on using?

oh i wasnt putting all 8 lights straight onto my seedling, 1-2 bulbs to start off with then add the rest as and when i feel the need for them. im not 100% sure what nutrients to go with but if you can enlighten me with any info on whats decent to use. like i say its my first grow & ive only read up on threads on a few forums including this one. seedlings is around 10 days old n as u can imagine sunlight isnt doing it any justice really.

I now have my seedling under one 42w bulb, its around 12 days old or so and had only been gettin sunlight for the first 10 days or so

this was aborted. restarting in the next few days, finally got pretty much everyting together properly to start this off - will post a new thread once ive germ'd n potted
