First Time Indoor Grow. How things look?

Hey everyone. Well this is my first grow. 4x4 tent with 4 plants from clones. Using organic soil and a cheap led from amazon for the veg stage. I picked up a 600w HPS that I want to put in. Just need to get an exhaust fan for the light as I don’t want temps to get too high.
Here are some pics for you guys/gals to check out and let me know what your thoughts are. Things seem to be moving slow right now. It may because I need to do a proper full water. I have only been watering about 500ml of water per plant and they are in 4 gallon pots right now. Also I have been just watering around the plant base and not the whole pot. I did a read on proper watering and plan to do that either tonight or tomorrow. I also topped all 4 about 5 days ago. Hope I did it right.

Looking good! Maybe look into low stress training also to increase your yield/avoid height problems in your space. Also, just curious, why did you also cut the node under where you topped in this picture? Those fan leaves are super important for your plant to photosynthesize! Other than that, it looks good!

Hey man they are looking good! Is that WPM on the lower leaves? I'm also pretty new to this myself.

A few pointers:

Try to narrow your humidity range...when it's that wide, it increases the possibility of mold and so forth.
See how green your plants are? Be mindful of this...you don't want to over do it nutrient wise.
See the leaf margins and how they roll upwards...be sure your light is far enough away to benefit the plant, but not antagonize it.

Thanks for the pointers. No nutrients going in. Just water as this is an organic mix.

Was just a stupid careless mistake. I hope I topped them properly. We shall see.
Is it best to just leave them as they are for a while and let them grow out? LST is very new to me

If I were you I would start LST as soon as you can, because the earlier the better. It’s intimidating at first but just read as much as you can about it, watch a couple videos to get a visual feel for it and go for it!! They can take a good bit of bending around and actually you will see HUGE growth from it almost immediately. Just be careful with leaves!

Just for a heads up you can have organic nutes and bennies so its possible. nice work on the grow, keep us updated!

In soil for your first grow i would suggest biobizz grow and bloom with calmag (organic).
They are starting to get hungry...

I can suggest to use fox farm nutes and then with root growth to help eat up all the nutrients in the soil use xtreme gard mykos. The combo is strong.

fox farm = soup food for plant
xtreme gardening mykos = bigger spoon to eat the soup

so this morning I checked in the little fellas and they seem to have a bit of curling on the leaves? I checked the soil and it did seem dry so I have them all a good drink of water around 10:30 this morning. Went and checked on them at 4:20 this afternoon and here are some pics. Wondering what I may be doing wrong?

I would NOT suggest FF. He is in Organic soil and your salty FF nutes are gonna mess up the balance. You want something that is Amino Chelated like Humboldt Nutrient's Organic 3 part line. Or even use amendments like a REAL organic gardener.

I'm guessing you're concerned about the leaf margins...how they're curling up? If so, generally speaking, plants (not just cannabis) will do this when they're too hot or they're getting too much light. So, first be sure your temps are ok...and if so, then adjust your light a little and see if they (your plants) do what you want them to do (relax their leaves).

And for the record...you're plants aren't that far off, so don't knee jerk your way into issues. Slow and steady wins this race more often than not. Good luck.

Thanks temps have been steady at 27 degrees Celsius when lights are on. Running 18/6 for cycle. I don’t have the lamp too close but I will try to raise it up a bit and see if it helps. I will try not to worry so much just don’t want to screw it up. Thanks again.

You may worry all you'd like, although it's not healthy. What you don't want to do is allow your worry to lead you into making poor choices. See what happens when you make the change in light height and then go from there. Good luck.

Thanks King. Here are a couple pics of the soil I am using. We have a local company that makes this and the shop I bought it from said it works great. No nutes, just water. But I think I should be using some nutes and some point. What do you think? I took a shot of the ingredients listed in the mix.
I also added worm castings as per their instructions.

NO NUTES!!!!! Great looking soil!!!!
