First Time Pedro

How do I boil the cactus? The tek didn't mention, but do I cut the core out, skin? Or just boil it all? I heard the core is what gets you sick.. You guys have no idea how excited I am to do this. Hope I get a good trip :)
 
Yes, you cut the core out. You also want to dry out the cactus before starting (an oven on low works).
 
Brewing the tea as we speak. 2ft of 2-3in diameter pedro. I'm hoping to have a good time! :) First time doing any hallucinogen, got to tell you...I am pretty excited.
 
Fuck fuck fuck. I left the house to go to the store and left the tea to be tended by my dad..told him to stir it etc. I think he fuckin left it to burn like the dumb ass stoner he is. fuck. Hopefully it didnt. It came out darker than I expected and that's why I say he burned it. Kinda smelt funny in the house when I came in too. Meh, still going to swig it and hope for the best.
 
Didn't do it once again. I was tooooo tired. But since i think its burned and I don't want to drink it, I think I am going to try to reduce it to the tar balls and just try that as an experiment.
 
Aight, maybe I will just pound it then. Fuck it, I came this far right. I was bummed I didn't do it over the weekend. Went to Crtystal Lake in the Angeles National Forest. I saw so many cool things. A millipede, freaky spiders and grey squirrels with HUGE bushy tails, I wish I could have enjoyed this all with the pedro. I'll pro just drink it next fri. Question? Is it supposed to have a salty/chemical taste? OMG it was terrible.
 
I've always taken mescaline as a powder either from synthesis or extraction so I can't say firsthand, but everything I've heard or read about the teas is that they taste foul (hence why I've always stuck with the powders).
 
I will probably never drink san pedro again..it tastes so fckn bad..and since its kind of slimy it makes me wanna throw up while i drink it.

Gonna try the extraction soon, although i read that extractions might not be as potent as the brew..any comments on this?

Yea, I hear the tea is a different experience...thats why I want to try that first. Is the tea supposed to freeze when in the freezer? Cause mine did and I was thinking, could you not just swallow frozen tea balls?

Thats actually a good idea..i need to come up with some method of taking the tea without actually driking it..capsules does not sound such a good idea since you would need quite a few..

Trust me, driking will only ruin it for u, its some foulness u dont want to experience :P
