Hey, I remember this thread. It was created like a year after I created my aquarium thread...

I remember your thread but a brief search didn't lead me to it & I found this one instead.
Sorry : (

So I ordered 4 Hybrid Discus on Thursday - UPS overnight.
They went from Florida to Texas (Oops) and then to the east coast hub. They made it to Springfield and are still there.
Over $500 dollars worth of fish are now dead cause the box won't get here until Tues by 1330 (they say).
Some of the most beautiful and regal fresh water creatures - I am beyond pissed!!

I have a tetra tank mostly. But was thinking of change. I was curious. Does anyone use there tanks spill off or waterchange water for there gardens?
I used my tri monthly water exchange and gravel vacuumed sludge in my gardens for years when I had my 150 gallon cichlid tank. PH was a bit low and ammonia high. Ran an airstone in the buckets for a couple days and cut by 50% with tap water. Healthy plants. Learned hydro on a 42 gallon feeder gold fish tank. Guess that is aquaponics. But same theory.

Not every drug dealer has a super advanced aquarium, but everyone who has a super advanced aquarium is a drug dealer.

When you get into saltwater and multiple tanks...thats when you sell a bunch of varieties of drugs.
Or hundreds of fry and very pricey wild caught rare specimens.

Did a ton of aquariums and aquatic maintenance at a pet store I worked at years back. Still have the same tank going that I build over years working there. Iv used sump spill off hoses directed to rose gardens for costumers (their request). And always wondered how well they did (aftermath.)

Maybe I'll try it out on the veggies this year. I don't have a large tank. Just 40 gal. So won't be much water lol

That would be 10 gallons bi-weekly if proper maintenance on a plant free tank. And that is 20 when cut. And keep the nasty sludge in the gravel vac filter. Concentrated high N liquid fert. Mix it in and stir well before using. Tomatoes explode with it.

Were they insured through the shipper?
Yes and the breeder has plenty of stock so he files a claim with UPS with the photo's of the cadavers I provided & simply ships me a dup hand picked order.

Whaaa?
I'm retired & not a drug dealer, I was smart enough to invest & save starting relatively early so I don't need that hassle in my life.

I have two saltwater tanks and a freshwater. I don’t sell drugs
I lived in Key West - collected trop's & sold them to shops in the keys & Miami.
Collecting at night is very productive but pretty spooky too. I've been "bumped" by large things in the dark & by the time you turn around with the light what ever it was is now gone in a swirl of water.

Thank God it always turned out that way!
