Like I said, if Los Angeles has a huuuuge illegal population,then naturally a lot of the crime is going to be attributed to them... but I can do the same with any city (blacks > New Orleans, Detroit) (whites > Seattle, Boston, Milwuake).

Again, you guys don't know the difference between occourance and frequency. None of your "facts" has conslusively shown that illegal immigrants have a higher crime rate.

Learning to debate would be a good start,no?

Yet none of you have proven any of this. If illegals have lower incarceration rates, are paying taxes at a similar or greater number than citizens, and are increasing production for the economy... then whats the problem?


Racism? Ignorance? Misconceptions? Likely all of the above.

More power to you. I'm sure theres a fair share of asshole immigrants (whether legal or illegal) just like anywhere else. I'm sure there ARE SOME leeching off the government. I know for a fact that in places like Los Angeles and Miami they DO account for a huge portion of crime.


But when we're talking about overal crime rates and percentage of them paying taxes, they are no worse than us. I guess everyone needs a spacegoat once in a while.


One of you guys (someone from Colorodo) had no way of showing that the 80 percent of the Hispanics in his son's school were illegal... he just assumed that because they were brown. If thats not some sort of prejudice I dont know what is.

I'm not saying people are getting fired and being replaced by illegals. I'm saying that contractors and builders are using cheap labor and bidding cheaper bids by the money they save by having the illegal cheap labor making it very hard for an American skilled tradesman to earn there rightful wage.

Depending on the polls, you are absolutely correct and absolutely false. For every poll you show me that states MOST Americans want them out,I can provide a poll that states MOST Americans would like to see a pathway towards citizenship.


In either case, the same 4 bigots that keep coming back without sources, racist name calling, and posting fake internet postings...

yeah, you're the real voice of reason. :shock: I would at least like to debate with proper spellers and people older than 14 years old or at least a high school diploma.

Population growth (whether immigration, illegal immigration, natural growth) has ALWAYS spurred the economy. It increases demand, production, and supply. Maybe one of the reasons politicians don't want to deport them all is because 1-Theyre putting billions into the IRS and Social security. 2- Their spending money is half a trillion strong. 3- Inreased producitivity trickles down to the rest of the country.


If Illegal immigrants had the same crime rate as other minorities (Mainly blacks and other mestizos), they would be making up about 20 percent of the prison population... now can someone tell me why they only make up less than 5 percent? The numbers don't add up. If they're so crime ridden why are they a third as likely to be arrested FOR A CRIME than African Americans?


If Illegal immigrants were such a burden, why does the IRS issue out ITINS numbers for people without social security numbers? Even temporary work visas give out social security numbers.

If everyone hated illegals then why do we see such a huge backlash against Arizona?

Also, this might be a surprise to you but I CAN agree with those that think illegal immigration is a burden... I just tend to avoid people that post fake e-rumors, call everyone that is brown a wetback illegal immigrant, and can't provide adequete reasoning for their views. Anyone that says that all illegals are on welfare and don't pay taxes cannot be taken seriously because in every way shape and form this is an innacurate statement.
