OK, so last night I had at a dork who posted a stupid thread begging for free seeds from RIU members. I blasted him pretty hard and got a lot of support from other members who know better. Well Lo and Behold I log in today and find that FDD (who I like btw) has warned me and docked my account points for this. Can anyone on here feel my pain? Is this indeed just? Please reply to make me feel like I didn't do anything wrong. I hate idiots and this guy was really PUSHING THE ENVELOPE. Thanks for your support should you choose to lend it.

I participated in the pile on last night as well. RIU has had a no personal attack policy in place for some time and I support it. The guy was abusive, but there are ways of dealing with dudes like that within the existing rules. It is possible, and fun, to make sport of a deserving member without attacking them. Easier said than done sometimes.

there is a right and wrong way to go about everything.... obviously he felt you went about it the wrong way.... just take it as a lesson learned and let it go.... and it wouldnt hurt to apologize to anyone you may have offended... peace bro

I am sure you were right to tell dip shit what was up. You were helping the mods out. Where were they? Dont sweat it. I am sure FDD had a good reson.

I PM'ed Fdd and stated my case. He's a good man, and I'm sure it'll all be fine in the end. Was just itching to blast someone last night!! That guy rubbed me the wrong way and insulted the intelligence of several members trying to show him the error of his ways.

i think that says it all... i'd just drop it and move on... no sense in making a public thread about it... this should have been handled in a pm directly to fdd, not aired for the whole forum

One last thing before I drop it. FDD did indeed shut that very same thread down a few posts later. Good on ya mate, no harm no foul.
