flemsy bud/curing

I agree with Sun King. Not much you can do. My last crop of White Widow was very airy, and didn't even have barely a smell after curing, but it is one of the most potent cannabis I've ever used (both smoke and edible). Not too good if you're trying to sell/distribute it, but for family and friend use, it's irrelevant.

Sounds like you didnt dry them enough before you started your cure. Drying has a decent effect on the overall density.

Dry too fast and your bud will be airy and light as a feather, dry too slow or start curing too early and your bud will be squishy and wet for weeks. if you only open it once a day.

in extreme cases I would tend to agree, but often a light bud is just the genetics of that strain and/or its growing environment
 
i feel it, i just know from past experiences where ive ran a strain from clone a dozen or so times and whenever i let the drying get away from me for one day or even 12 hours more than is needed it zaps most of the flavor and makes it very airy and light.

Strain is a major factor as well as growing perfectly but the dry/cure are the breaking point between that next level bud and just some good shit.
 
His bud is airy becouse of the way it was grown maby it was pulled to early. I agree curing is a make or break step but it wont completely reverse density.it is what it is and according to the homie its airy and light.
