What does it mean when just the tips of a plant are flipped upwards?

give us a pic.... it really helps
but if it is what i think it is a sign the plant is healthy and reaching up for light
make sure you light isn't too far away if she seems to be stretching too much (long stems etc.)
edit... sometimes the top leaves reach up when getting ready to push up another node

too wet and that is a really big pot for seedling you might consider a solo cup till she gets established
