flood tables/frames

hey guys. i haven’t setup anything to house my veg plants yet. they are just sitting on the floor. you can see some new transplants below.

i was going to put some basic 4x6 or 4x8 flood trays on pvc frames. the room does not have a drain. but there is one right on the other side of the wall.

all suggestions welcome.

Well for the way you are using them, just as a catch basin for top feed, it doesn't matter so long as you can hold the weight. Maybe cement blocks would work, just put one in the middle of each 4x4 area to prevent sagging. If you were using them as flood and drain I would say build a reservoir out of 2x12 lumber and lag screws lined with 45 mil pond liner and cross braces, set the tray on that.

I was going to do a pvc frame thinking this may be better

If you build wood tables I'd recommend painting them, I just burned mine like a month ago cause they got gross. I bought some fast fit trays stands.
