Flood Trays

Hi,
Don't know if anyone has done this before. The cheapest 3x3 flood tray I could find was $40 on the net. I was going to build a wooden one. But, I found some rubbermaid tubs laying around that measure 24"x36". I just cut these down to 6" high and added a flood drain kit for $7. I do not know what the tubs cost originally, but I do know they were collecting dust laying around.
Works very well

You can buy 'tubs' made to be 'under the bed' storage that are already about that height. Good use of what you had. VV

I searched and searchedbut could not find anything relatively cheap,. I have no local hydro shop (2 hour trip) so Everything I do is online. Searched and searched. Can you give me a link to what you are talking about?
Thank you!

Lowes, Menards, Meijer, K-Mart, Walmart, etc. Ask your wife to get you an Under The Bed chest. Since your using it for a flood tray the translucence won't matter. VV
