Thanks...

And I don;t even wish it was legal...

I just wish that the punishment for growing was relative to the violence involved..

That way we would never see hippies in jail...;-)

its funny how Micheal Vick gets little under 2 years for killing dogs but if you get caught with 25+ plants you'll be doing 15to life:?

Mine was the same...

But it was updated when they shipped...

Did you place the order online?

If so, may I suggest that next time you call them...

I have gotten really good deals by speaking to their people.. even better than the net...

They are reputable... I would not worry...

And congrats!!!! you'll love it!!!:hump:
Yeah I placed the order online. Thanks for the help with the balanced motor question also. I tried to call them at ten to five yesterday afternoon, but they had already closed their phone lines. I added it to my cell and I'll call them at lunch today. I also called my buddy that does electrical work. I used to work with him fifteen years or so ago. I live in an old house, it still has a fuse panel, so I want to switch over to a breaker box, I'll feel better if I can run two twenty amp circuits into my back bedroom. Who knows, one day I might have to depend on growing for my income. Until then with two twenty amp circuits I can run a portable air conditioner in the summer and maybe a swamp cooler during the winter if it gets to hot in there with no danger of overloading a circuit.

Will five mil black plastic, doubled, be enough to black out windows?

I am looking forward to setting up my room as soon as my woman leaves. We've been on the outs for months and it's draining me both emotionally and financially. I've had to pay off about six hundred dollars worth of bills over the last month. I asked her to pay the electric bill several months ago. I found out when I got a notice my electric was about to be shut off she hadn't paid it in the last two months and then she ran over the minutes on the cell phone last month to the tune of a three hundred thirty dollar bill, which she also stiffed me for. My grow is almost over, another couple of weeks. She said she is leaving before the end of the month. When my grow ends, if she hasn't, I'll be serving her with an eviction notice. I don't dare take the chance of really pissing her off when my grow is still going...and she knows it. So goes life. I just keep running through my mind what my mother used to tell me in hard times..."and this too shall pass."

Do some research on this site and others on setting up a grow room. Do it right the 1st time to maxi your yield. As for the person living with you, be care. One of the top ways a person is caught is word of mouth. Don't piss her off. One night at a bar talking to the wrong person can land you in jail.

It's a re-circulating Hydro set-up...

Commonly known as Ebb/Flow or Flood/Drain...

Works like this...

:joint::peace:

OK Ya I got the ebb and flow...
How the hell do you change and clean bottom res, when plants are in full flower and when buds are tied up to ceiling, like in MBlazes?
Also how many plants per 1000 watt light, if light are on a mover can I add more plants, would think so but would like your opinion
Thanks

I have a hose that siphons out the water to the yard...

So I slide the tray a little to the side... just enough for my arm to fit in there...

and I scrub as fresh water comes in, and the mixed up dirty water drains out...

Works pretty good..

The best thing is to never allow your res and tray to get nasty...

My plan is to use 4x 600 HPS for 4 plants... and try to get a pound a piece...

I don't really like the idea of light movers... but I have never used one... so my opinion is not a good one...

I placed an order with htg last wednesday evening. I got an email confirming my payment through paypal in a few minutes, and haven't heard a thing since. When I check on the status, it says 'in process'.

Is this usual for them?

wow my orders take probably 7 days total...from when I order to when I receive them. Maybe since I'm a repeat customer my shiit gets here quicker. Sucks you don't have it yet but it should come. I know out of the 5 orders I've placed only once I didn't receive a Tracking#

At the local hydro shop they have a sweet mover that holds 2 reflectors with all the works and moves across the room. When he was showing someone else it I just stared and was like damn that would be fucking sweet right there. Could grow a shiit load of weed with less light with one of those.

oh yeah gypsy, you have no problems with algae or shiit with your res and flood tray exposed to the light? I love that set-up, 1 plant per system, if you can get a lb of each plant I'd love it even more. I guess it depends on strain...what you growing??

When I got home today, tuesday, I first checked my email to see if they responded to my email from yesterday, no, they hadn't and then I tried calling but after being on hold for fifteen minutes I gave up. So today is four business days without hearing anything. I have ordered from them before and had no problems.

Gypsy, looking at your setup, do you have six inch flanges on your reflector and the one end reduced to four inch? Secondly, where does that duct end and what do you have connected to the duct?

Good luck with your trees.

answering it for em here :) but it looks to me thats it the Easy Cool 8 from htg http://htgsupply.com/products.asp?categoryID=5 . So its 8 inches down to 6 inches.

I'm jealous because I want that exact reflector.

What a colossal fuck up in horticulture on my part!

So I've been battling these brown spots basically since they grew past the cotyledon leaves and have been trimming these 'bad' leaves since they started.

Transplant, change in soil, add nutes, remove nutes, ph up, ph down, bla bla bla bla....

Found out all along it was my water ... I did use too much, or too little, but the wrong damned H2O completely ..

Canna nutes have no trace elements and are designed for hard tap water ... not Distilled or RO water ......

So I picked up some CalMag to treat the reaming 30 gallons of RO water I have (would seem stupid to waste it) and am now searching for a viable way to remove Chloramine from tap water without removing magnesium, calcium and iron. I know my carbon filter removes sulfer and other metals that aren't good, but I think the chloramine stays behind.....

Off to google ... (update good carbon filters do remove Chloramine according to google)

Too much love, caution and care CAN aparently ruin a plant.

I just let my water sit for a few days with the top off, it's supposed to allow the chlorine to bleed off. I then add whatever and then ph the water and adjust to 6.5 or there about.
