well ima be using red and blue im building from board ima have at least 4 boards with 200watts of leds which = around 1000 watts with what ever your using. but its pure growing no unused light.

well the blue spectrum is for veg and the red is for flowering im mixing the two... and yes since its exactly what the basil needs to do what is needed 90watt ufo = does as much as 400-600 watt system does so yes.. you have to use the right spectrum for this tho... less light so no escaping light... and u can put it right on the leaves and no burn :0 no heat as well... ok a tad but not enough to burn or hurt

I doubt your 200w of leds= 1000w. If this was true, every one would be jumping aboard. LED's obviously run with less electricity, low heat, no wasted light waves. hmmm sounds pretty good. I guess grow and show us how "WELL" these work. I have failed to be impressed, last led grow i saw, the plant grew straight up, no branching, the plant got 2 feet tall, with only 6 nodes. the leaves looked weak, thin, pale, and droopy.

I'm happy with my pitiful 150hps.

LED.S SUCK FOR NOW..maybe in the near future theyll get improved..such as what a cmh bulb is to normal hps bulbs...and what a t-5 system is to the old t-8 and t12 lights..same thing..only improved for growing!!!

leds only suck with low wattage per bulb, you need 1watter per and at least 150+watts for it to be what you want + more .them puny led on ebay wont do the trick... remember you get what you pay for

LOL....All this LED shit is funny. Saw an LED grow show in the Dam last year. the grower said he was getting rid of them...buds not dense enough. Hope it works out for u though..
