Sunleaves Three-Way Meter $8.00

Gardeners can conveniently test their moisture, light, and pH levels with the handy Sunleaves Three-Way Meter. Moisture readings register on a scale of 0 (dry) to 10 (moist), light readings range from 0 (low light) to 2000 (very strong light), and pH readings between pH 0 (acidic) and pH 10 (basic) are represented. The durable, easy-to-read tester is suitable for use indoors or out and needs no batteries to operate.

looking very nice matt; i do however have some concern about your temps;80 and above increases male count....

one way to fix the prob is to freeze four bottles of water, everyday, and put the ice bottles on the floor in the room.

should drop your temps 5-10 degrees.

have you though about co2? home made, i mean....

Princess I have managed my Temps now it stays at nearly 80 all the time. I have also noticed everytime I raise the light the temp drops because of the more airflow. I have a nice fan blowing all the time on them aswell. I have herd about the frozen water bottle trick sounds cool, But my problem is I have a small ass freezer full of food. shity or els I would do that for sure. I have also thought seriously about some sort of homemade co2.I was thinking about buying a bunch of 12 gram Co2 cartgages for pellet guns and blowing one of them off in the closet twice a day. Do you thinks this would be any use?

lol, no, it'd be a waste of time and money.

what you need to do is get a gallon milk jug, put in 5 cups of sugar, 5 cups of water, and a packet or two of highly active yeast (bread machine yeast, grocery store)

poke a hole in the lid, and shake the jug once or twice a day. this will give you a constant supply of co2.

don't seal the jug, or it'll blow up....

Tell me more about your cfl spiral sockets. I see that you have two lights connected to eachother but I can't tell what the wiring is. Where did you find/buy this setup (including the wiring)?

Is the weight of the light bulbs being supported by the wires only?

Other than that, I like what you got going on and it looks to be a rather inexpensive way to go.

I am using a socket splitter. they screw into any light bulb socket.AS for wiring there is none here are som pics of my two cfl set up. I have the cfl fixtures hanging with string. Inexpensive, not really those all those High Output T5 fixtures were not cheap. 30 bucks for one and thats a good deal
