flower am to pm, or pm to am?

im coming up on flowering soon, and i am wondering if i should do 6 am to 6 pm, or do a light schedule of 6 pm to 6 am.

anyone have experience with these and have a preference? im not much of a morning person, and I am a full time student, so I am leaning towards pm to am. also for the reason that it is colder at night, and i can use more CFLs since my 2700K seem to generate lots of heat.

I am pretty set on pm to am, unless people have reasons not to that i havent thought about. what do you say? and is 6 o'clock a good time to use? Thanks!

it doesnt matter what so ever. if its gonna alter ur temps then do it when it best suits u.

ive had it on over night. no1 is around so they wont know. ive had it on in the day. they wont know bcoz u wont be able to see light in broad daylight.

it doesnt matter as long as the cycle is 12 hours.

My flower room is set from 10:30 am 10:30 pm that way I can sit in the room before lights on have a cup of coffee and watch the "sun" rise over my plants. Also I like to feed/water within 1 hr of light on.

power is cheaper in the evenings. heat is lower in the evenings. you are home in the evenings when lights are on so you have more time with your babies. i always run my lights in the evenings. 8pm to 8am. :)

thats what i was thinking too. i figure i can crack the window open at night and let in some real cool air to help drop my temperatures.

thanks for the input everyone.

Gotta make sure to check for light leaks if lights are off during the day.
yeah im worried about this too. i have a small closet that it is in. it has a drape covering the entrance, which is black, and there is a small window that i am going to cover soon.

also, my 2 rubbermaid bins dont line up perfectly. the picture shows how its setup. i do have a piece of cardboard to help reflect some of the light (and keep outside light out). what do you think? is this not enough darkness? whats a good rule of thumb to figure out if its dark enough?

this could help a just little bit flowering at night would be better because (correct me if im wrong) there is more CO2 in the air at night then in the day time

I cant recall where i read this but the ppm concentration of Co2 is should be noticeably higher at night then in the day
