House smells like edibles but with rosin. Like baking weed in oven. You can smell it from the driveway. Because I am not venting and filtering smell. No space its just where you see it so camt really do anything about it. Its legal around me though so not big deal its just when I press.

When I harvest in flower room I can control smell and also if I put my press in there but zi need that space. Theres just not enough space to go to town on a half pound of down town brown.

Just looking at it its for sure much lighter. Its going to lighten up in jar. So three clones, 3 different results same pheno. 17% but dark, 15% but is buttering and now this. I think this will be the best looking but the lowest yielding. Like 13% which is ouch. How the hell you go from 20% to this in the same pheno?

Well people are saying it could be anything and everything. This why mothering plants for rosin is important and even then its unpredictable to some degree. Or you could have it yield nothing and if youre dabs only thats a real bad thing. Smoking be making me sick like bronchitis typenof feeling and then I cant get high because of it.

Oh hell yes 194.54gs to 15.63% 30.41gs flower rosin basically just like the clone beside it! Im beyond happy I thought it was 13% or so. Looks are decieving I guess. See, 22oz weed lol I call it close. I known this pheno for some yrs now.

Im back yielding good amounts after budrot and PM the plants quickly got bigger. I was pushed this run to make it work a bit over packed but found you can just force it to grow fat buds. Then defol for airflow. My clones growing different every run.

Pressin. Lighter color but less yield. Same temps.
That’s awesome, so lower temp might be the answer? I’d prefer a lighter colored rosin, but I’m not gonna throw away the darker product…

BTW, I was up in MD for 4/20, and scored a bunch of diamond infused blunts on sale for $15 each. Over 50% THC…I gotta figure out how to get some of this resin in the blunts I make at home…

I wouldnt worry about color if its just how it turned out but yea sometimes less heat can make it lighter color. Inwould do one at 180F, one at 200 and one 220F and see what I like best about each temp and choose what I like best and make a bunch of that.

Its real cut and dry, flower rosin pressing. I find they just do what they do and nothing really raises yield. Each press same batch can be different. One press 20%, one 17% and one 15% it can change. So I just calculate overall yield.

Higher temps may raise yield but some strains dont do good high temp. Too much of the old egg flavor flower rosin has can come out. Texture can be crappy too. Sometimes it actually makes better rosin and yield like my pheno here.

Other than that, hand trimming I found can raise yield from 12% to 20% but as stated its random, could be 15-17%. Its still a big increase though but aside from that nothing else works besides bottle or chottle tech.

If you make too big a brick to pre press it can lock up the material and less heat to the flower from plates since its overloaded with flower.

Some strains wont yield good regardless of hand trimming but its a good measure as it can raise yield significantly as stated. So yea its cut and dry if its not good rosin or yield or both its just a bad pheno or strain or both.

Ready to press. Sampled a dab, no popping sounds so its dry enough. Just clean prepress and Im off. 11.8% off 3.48gs. It could be more sometimes its just a bad press.

162.5gs flower to 12.95% flower rosin. 21gs, sampled half gram. Welp basically 13% thats a low blow and need to factor that into future harvests incase it just does that. Not very good but then again was losing yield for a while now unknown.

It looks dark but I can tell its lighter color at least and easier to collect which means less terps. A tiny bit shattery. Not bad but its missing that juicy extra top quality hash.

My greatest discovery turned dissapointment because yes bud trimmers can steal half the hash but half of it simply can just not be produced to begin with. Hand trim regardless just in case. So yes I lost lots of hash but not as much as I thought.
