Im pretty upset doe was doing my light bar and when I was wagoing the strips all the fucking connections broke for the positives very flimsy connections wont be buying cutter again not happy with these like hell man
I imagine your frustration. You tried contacting them? They strike me as the kind of company that intends to be around for the long run. Surely they can assist.

When you say broke, do you mean the connectors fell off? Or they pulled off together with copper trace? Maybe pictures?
Think maybe @diggs99 has some experience with a similar situation. Maybe they need to stencil more paste, or improve the oven profile?

The older version strips had shitty solder pads, too small, causing connectors to release from the strips, very annoying, ive had to break out the solder gun and do repairs above my plants a few times.

The new version j series are supposed to have improved in this area.

I treat mine like delicate pieces of electronics. I've worked in the industrial electrical industry for too long to trust anybodies manufacturing skills lol. As far as Cutter strips I have received, no complaints from me. Maybe its a fluke, let us know what the solution from them is

Nice, i'm still waiting on mine. They should have received the chips now, so I hope they are making the strips maybe tonight (since they are on opposite time frames), then they could ship the next day, and then I could have them before my weekend which would be really nice, but not gonna hold my breath

You just solder the wire on? Looking good!

Hey @Gond00s , is this the power supply that you were interested in?

But I got this done and I can now say my quantum board is better than yours only if it was just a board that would be crazy but pretty nice so far got the rails got everything drilled just gotta wire prob just gunna bust the connections off and solder them directly to the wire tbh lots of fucking work if I wanna do that but i think it’s more strong to pulls. Im wanting to do that but gonna be a solid build once done

Don't bust the connections off. horrible idea. Use solid core18-22awg wire stripped about 3/8" and stick it in there.

It depends if the connections are gonna be solid I only use solid core it’s the connections on the boards that can be super flimsy I’m just gonna wire and hope they don’t pop

Still no strips. Getting a bit irritated now, especially since when I ordered them way back mid Feb, the website showed they had 3 in stock so they should have never even had to get the chips.

Not only that, seems that getting any Info on these VERY expensive strips you PAYED FOR ALREADY, Is like a waste of time now. I've asked @weight 5 times to just explain how you'd use these. Been ghosted everytime.

I don't know who this Weight character is, but you may perhaps have better luck summoning Mark of Cutter Electronics by asking for @welight .

I'm almost afraid to ask if you have made this same mistake each time you wished to address him.

dude im unsure what you need to know, this is the chip spec, so data should be multiplied for strips, ie 6 pcs, 12 pcs.

Please advise what you require

Thank you for that Information Mark. I'm more interested in YOUR opinions though. I'd like to know, how many of these strips would you use in a 4x4 for adequate results? How LONG would you use them for in a 12hr flowering cycle? Would it not be better to spread these diodes over a 4' strip for better spread? When MiGro claims these are far from being useful, what do you think he's talking about?
Are these diodes expected to have a shorter life span than most LEDs?
Things like that.
I just want to know the things that a person who's used them in a run would want to point out to others.
