Flower tent LED build

Get yourself a pair of AgroMax Pure UV t5 bulbs and buy a DIMMABLE BALLAST for them because they're WAY OVERPOWERED and really gotta be dialed down to like 25-50%.
Eh, i'd rather go all LED even if it is more expensive and takes more time to get it all. This will give me a pretty good start, and also a good reference point to see if the UV actually does anything

We're talking a couple $1000 of LED bro... But if you got the money, I'd love to see it done .

Lol I wish, maybe some day, or maybe a little at a time. From what I understand it just stimulates trichome production the last couple weeks. Not sure how much frostier they can get, i'm pretty happy

Well, this is what is going in the tent. There are the two strips from cutter of uvb/c that will be on the two thin silver heat sinks with nothing on them. This is not the configuration though. Was setting up and realized I need to hit the hardware store for some supports, so tomorrow it is!

Wait, what? Cutter has lower than 285nm LEDs for UVC? Even UVB? How much were they? What's their output? What driver?
Also what strips are they on the pic?
I didn't know you had 4 SF1000's that's cool

250mw per strip of 6 280 and 6 310. 84V at 700mA. I have 2 on the way, i'll send pics when they get here. I have a couple strips with them now, but only 1 280 and 2 310's on each strip, 2 strips, so i don't have much yet

they are 280nm on a 285mm

Wow, so per the .5w per sq ft, one strip is plenty for a whole 4X4 right?

What driver are you going to use? MW APC-35-700 seems perfect

Well, not sure the spread would cover the whole thing. I have 2 of them coming, I also do not know anything about the numbers, but was told they have a typo on their website and should say .1w normally and their uv needs .05/sq ft. Which at their 250mw would cover a 5x5 with one strip

No, that wouldn't work at all, not nearly enough voltage

I'm planning on using the XLG-100-L-AB, will be slightly underpowered, but i'm hoping it will be ok. I'll run in parallel with fuses for protection, and am hoping the uv works dimmed as well, i'm trying to get all AB drivers except what came on the spider farmers, that way i can set up a remote dimming station

When I tested cutter's strips with just some UVB and C with my insulation tester everything lit up so I know there is continuity, but not sure if there are photons coming out. Only tested at 50V, didn't want to go over intended voltages

Oh I didn't see they were such high voltage.

@welight are these really just as good of an option as using a 2' 2 bulb fixture of AgroMax Pure UV fluorescents? One strip is plenty for a 4X4?
I'm thinking 3 strips at least. at .05w/sq ft, you would need 800mw total, and these strips are 250 each
I will need 4 for my tent, but am starting with 2
