Flower to Veg

So I am beginning to set up a perpetual scrog grow but I need a mother plant first. I have 8 plants vegging now and plan to pick the best female from them and scrog the others to get it started.

My question is when I determine which one will be the mother, is it safe to move her to the mother area, back to 18/6, without having adverse effects on her or the clones she will produce?

Whenever you switch a plant into flower for extended period of times and then switch them back to veg there is always a risk the plant will go hermie. Some plants respond better to a re-veg than others but most of the time the second time through will not be as good.

The best way to save your genetics is to clone all your prospects before you go into flower then once you have selected your female, you can kill the others. Good luck.
