Flower Week 4 Update/Questions

This plant is Strawberry Fields, growing in a mix of FFOF and ProMix. It vegged for a long time before I could get the all the equipment I wanted to flower so it's getting really big.

Couple questions I had: What should I expect from the buds at the top? Obviously I'm probably a month or more away, but I'm trying to get info on late stages of flowering. Does anyone have a recommendation for a good and/or economical microscope/camera?

Also, I believe I read somewhere that red stems on fan leaves might mean magnesium deficiency. Does anyone have any advice on that or does it look okay? Any brown spotting on leaf tips are from a nute mistake a week or two ago. I flushed it, but not before some leaf tips got burned.

Any advise/tips are appreciated. It's a first grow, so I know I'm not doing everything right.

Have you given any cal mag since this incident? Or before? Red stems you should feed. Easy on any nitrogen. Consider what nitrogen is in your Micros and the Cal Mag.

Used grow big while it was in veg. Stopped that and I've only been using big bloom since switching to flower so no nitrogen. Haven't given extra calmag but I can pick some up.

Not sure what you mean by the micros or 3 part nutes. Are you talking about the nute kits like FF trio?

The only one I dont have is tiger bloom but I'd assume to stay away because of the N in it. So calmag then?

I went to the store today to check out what they had for supplements to help out my situation, and DAMN it's difficult to find stuff with no Nitrogen in it.

With that said, I realize now that I was confusing what you were talking about. I didn't realize calmag was literally all Nitrogen. So to answer your question properly, no it hasn't gotten any significant sources of Nitrogen since the incident.

I read up on Epsom salt, and folks were swearing by it for Mag problems. I put about a 1/2 tsp per gal in her water this AM, and the stems are already looking MUCH more green.

I ended up grabbing Humbolts Secret Flower Stacker and it has an NPK of 0-7-5 so that should take care of any Phosphorous and Potassium issues. Haven't given her any nutes since the overfeeding and she'll be due for a dose soon.
