Flowering Light/Dark split

I've heard 12/12, and i've heard 18/6. What's the better one? and will it matter if the times aren't exactly that? how close should it be (what's a good margin ?) i just want somethin to toke, i'm not extremely concerned with making it the best there is.

For flowering 12/12 is definitely better.. 18/6 is used to veg and then 12/12 is what kicks them into flowering mode.

I dont think the times have to be EXACTLY that, but you should try to keep it as consistent as possible

I wouldn't try to keep it pretty close. I'd just buy a timer, under $20.00. VV

or remember to set your alarm clock to go off every 12 hours AND you have to be there every 12 hrs to cut lights on/off.
Its a bitch like hell. but i did it on my first grow using cfls, TOTALLY stealth and i got an ounce from it using 4, 42watt
